La historia se vuelvo un poco rollo en los capítulos 4 y 5, pero los puzzles siguen siendo geniales todos los niveles, y el modo sin fin es muy muy entretenido.

Cranky Cat is a puzzle game based around rotating a wheel (or "crank") and matching 3+ colours to make balloons pop.

The game itself works okay, but the concept, after 24 levels over 5 stages (120 odd levels) gets boring and trite. The worst part, however, is the soundtrack, which literally consists of 3-4 tracks which they play over... and over... and over... and over again. Incredibly annoying, I had to turn the volume to 0% just to ignore it.

It took me 5 hours to complete the Story mode entirely. I looked at the puzzles, they seemed pretty easy but they looked more entertaining than the Story mode.

This game would suit people who "like these sorts of games", people who enjoy Bejeweled, Peggled, Tetris etc, parents who don't play games often will possibly enjoy the simple puzzlesolving aspect, but may be driven genuinely insane by the "soundtrack".

Cranky Cat is simple (if you know Puzzle Bobble/Bust-a-Move) - it's PB with the board rotating, rather than you aiming new bubbles. The big problem is that especially later on, a lot of the boards will feel identical, and if you're going for 3-stars, the RNG nature of each stage is going to become a pain because sometimes you get a good run, and sometimes it just won't give you that one bubble of the right color to clear a path to the last two.

There's a Puzzle mode but it's hardly worth mentioning, because it comes down to "find the opening spot, rotate board appropriately to make all the bouncing pieces clear things". In fact, a huge part of why I find Cranky Cat kind of unfun stems from either a) gimmick boards where you can't blow up the biggest mass, or else the entire board will shift off-kilter and go out of bounds until you blow up two layers of bubbles, or b) reused boards over and over. I've seen one show up at least three times.

It's not a classic game by any means, is all I'm saying. The formula has some kinks.
