About This Game

From the creators of Runes of Magic, Dragon's Prophet is a free to play fantasy MMO that transports you to the breathtaking world of Auratia, a realm where dragons fill the sky. For thousands of years, the epic wars between ancient dragons have threatened to plunge Auratia into chaos. Now, an even greater danger has emerged that threatens the very existence of the realm. Explore the vast land as you attempt to CAPTURE, TRAIN, RIDE, AND FIGHT hundreds of unique dragons!

Features:

DRAGONS EVERYWHERE: In a world shaped by dragon-kind, hundreds of unique dragons roam the lands. CAPTURE, TRAIN, RIDE, and FIGHT them in order to unlock their unique skills and abilities.

ACTION-BASED COMBAT SYSTEM: Dragon’s Prophet uses a unique auto-target and combo system that immerses players in visceral battles and action gameplay. This system gives players a higher degree of control, and a wider range of tactical options than traditional MMOs.

BEAUTIFUL IMMERSIVE WORLD: Players are transported to the breathtaking world of Auratia, which is filled with amazingly detailed landscapes. Mysteries, challenges and monsters await players as they fight not just for their own survival, but for the survival of the entire realm.

UNIQUE PLAYER CLASSES: Players will choose from four distinct player classes to begin their journey into Auratia. Whether they prefer to get in close, shoot an arrow into a dragon’s eye, or blast an entire group of goblins with ranged DPS, there is a class for every player.

YOUR DRAGON DESTINY: The dragons a player captures will shape their character and, ultimately, their fate. Will you be a legendary fighter? Can you capture and train a dragon that will stand alongside you in the heat of battle? Capturing the right dragons is the difference between life and death!

REVOLUTIONARY MMO MEETS FREE TO PLAY:
Enter the world of Auratia for free and immerse yourself in the world where Dragons abound. Obtain loot through gameplay or enter the marketplace to make purchases with Station Cash®.

Not recommending this game for one sole reason. That being that I love this game but it IS Pay to play.

Sure, you can download, and play, but the limitations you are presented with right off the installation will cause you to spend more cash than a full blown AAA RPG, because those limitations are painful. You must buy bag slots, bank slots, even pet slots. You require items bought from the ingame store to adjust your pet's skills or deal with being screwed by RNG. The store bought cosmetic items give stat bonuses aswell, so they are not strictly cosmetic. You can buy dragons and pretty much everything you need from the ingame store if you're willing to throw down cash. Best of all? None of it is account wide. It is all restricted to the character you bought these things with, so if you wish to start a new character, be prepared to spend just as much cash as you did the other.

This game has some great elements as far as gameplay goes. The combat play is something I've been looking for in an mmorpg but having a difficult time finding, and that just makes me truly upset how cash demanding this game is. I would much prefer a monthly fee and have all those store bought features already unlocked.

Don't get me wrong. I don't hate Dragon's Prophet, in fact, I like almost everything about this game. There are tons of dragons, how could I not like it? The character creation is fantastic, graphic are okay, and the fighting is pretty dang cool.
The only real problem I have with this game is that it is difficult to play without spending Station Cash (which I've assumed is real money). It is still a fun game, but in my opinion, needing to spend money for so many little things (in a free to play game) really kills something essential in Dragon's Prophet. It was difficult to really lose myself in the game with the constant reminder that they wanted me to spend money. If you're willing to pay for it though then maybe you'll like the game more than I did.

although there are a lot of problems with this game, my main one being if you spend money on a character to unlock things that should be bought with in game currency it only applies to ONE character, i have put over 100 hours in on this game and will put hundreds more into it. 8/10.

Fun game
it uses a neverwinter like combat system.
it takes a little to learn what ure doing but it fun also capturing dragons is awesome reminds me of pokemon in a way,
if you like action mmos and dragons then this is the mmo for you

cons
there loading of the game is very buggie and needs an update so it launches better.
it can be very choppy looking at times.

I've played this game on my other steam account for about 76+ hours. and on here about 15. and I can say i've enjoyed almost every aspect! it's a fun game to challenge your friends to get the best dragon, though I do think currency is strange when it comes to (leafs) but besides that I found it to be a nice cummunity as well and I hope to see new and improved features in the future!
