À propos de ce contenu

The war between the loyalists and the rebels within the TEC, Advent and Vasari continues within the depths of Trader Space. Yet, this sector of the galaxy has far more worlds and far more history than any of the factions are aware. Survival forces each to expand into the unknown, discovering worlds of hazard, wealth, risk, and mystery. Most ominously, the Trader factions have been loathe to expand to these worlds due to the dark myths that surround them.

Key Features:

  • Four new planet types to colonize and exploit (Barren, Ferrus, Greenhouse, Oceanic), each created with beautiful high-res textures.
  • New Planet Specialization System: Dedicate your worlds to either social or industrial output. Devoting your planet to social improvements will increase its population and culture, at the cost of trade income and ship production. Choosing an industrial path will limit your growth and culture, but make your planet a trading and ship building powerhouse.
  • 15 new research subjects allow the races to conquer and expand onto the forbidden worlds.
  • Discover 40 new planet bonuses during your exploration of the galaxy, unlocking the dark past of the Sins’ universe.
  • Unlock five new Steam Achievements and display your mastery of forbidden space!

More content for an already great game sounds like a good idea. Not essential, but if you liked SoaSE:R, then it couldn't hurt to buy this and support the company and show interest in the game.

Compared to the other dlc this game has, this one is much more beneficial to the game.

This dlc will add some gameplay mechanics that can improve the rather lacking planet development, allowing you to specialize your planets for either industry or social impact. The specialization can make the gameplay interesting at times as it can allow you to either have amazing credit income for a planet, or have a culture modifier and improved population that can spread your influence to other planets alarmingly fast.

The addition of 4 planets will give the galaxy some life, along with some unique research and high asteroid counts (ferrus have 5-7 metal asteroids) to benefit your empire. Planet bonuses they mention in the details also exist as well, which give more uniqueness to a planet if one is found.

I know anyone reading this is going to ask this question, is it worth the price given? Surprisingly, for all it gives, Yes. The improvements in gameplay are much more noticable and reworks some of the mechanics to planet development, along with giving more in strategic use to planets and how you expand your empire. The $5 price is much more reasonable for the amount given compared to the stellar phenomena dlc. If you manage to catch this on sale, which is surprisingly often on big steam sales, both are a good grab.

Overall, I give this a 7/10 dlc wise. Have fun!

Classic representative of space RTS games. I liked it at the beginning but eventually I got bored. I recommend it to all fans of the RTS because currently there are very few similar games.

I love the game, but for some reason it crashes on me after about an hour and a half of playing. I don't know if why or if its a program that I have on my laptop causing this, but I am using Windows 10 on my laptop.

I meet or surpass all the recommended specs

Love this DLC. It's sort of the halfway point between an expansion pack and the usual DLC, but it MASSIVELY breaks up the monotony of a normal SoaSE map. With the DLC, you can find all sorts of planets to settle that can substantially alter your play depending on what you run into.

The universe feels more alive, basically. It feels more varied, more exciting to explore.

Definitely worth $5.

9/10 Possibly the Best DLC if you have to choose one.
Easily worth it if you find it for 50% off during a steam sale!

It adds more types of planets for a little more variety to your solar sytems.
It also adds research for these planets to colonize them with Ferros being the highest level.
The most important feature is the addition of a Planet Specialization building you can choose Industrial or Cultural, which is a permanent choice.
Industrial increases Ship manufacturing speed, Trade income, and resource production.
Cultural increases culture rate, Population, and resistance to opposing cultures.

Stardock also has DLC setup so that the host shares his DLC with all player joined, an especially fantastic feature and I'm glad they included this! Same applies to other DLCs.

While the lack of story is a little disappointing, the map layouts invite some really fun tactical options and the lack of a wall-esque structure forces defensive players to be more creative in how they go about guarding their territory.

Dlc is great, but i ask those who design and make this game to take a close look at various mods made for rebellion especially (enhanced 4x mod 1.75(&(Sins of a solar Empire) star wars mod. Its a good thing the people who make those mods don't have the capability to produce their own title, It is a shame sins doesn't have more depth.in depth interacton with different races diplomacy,Missions objectives similar to Homeworld, and why can't u create a better ending for the races?U have a nice intro.Makes me feel like u got tired&lazy towards the end.enhanced4X mods adds special characters&embassy's something that should have been included in sins.U have a great game that needs more depth&greater attention to detail. And for the record having to pay for random events&additional planets is silly every game should have random events standard.dlc should add something truly unique.Honestly wiss the fools who make mods&give them away for nothing would produce a title give Sins some serious competition.Maybe then makers of Sins will truly improve the title.
