About This Game

The Fallen Enchantress seeks to destroy the civilizations that have risen from the ashes of the Cataclysm. Fortunately, your fame has spread and great heroes have been drawn to your banner. With your new champions, you will confront new horrors like liches, brood hunters, banshees, and the dreaded hergon.

Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes is the new standalone expansion to Stardock’s turn-based, fantasy strategy game. Players will forge a new empire in a world sundered by powerful magic, fight against terrible creatures, complete quests and rediscover lost secrets in their bid to rule the world of Elemental.

Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes is a standalone expansion. No prior games are required to play.

Key Features

  • Gain Champions Through Fame: Champions are no longer simply found, instead, they seek you out based on the amount of Fame your kingdom has generated. And not all of these legendary heroes were Men or Fallen…
  • New Leveling System: Your sovereign and champions now evolve through a skill tree that visually allows you to plan what kind of hero you want him or her to be. Make your mage into a powerful Necromancer, or train your Assassin in special attacks that bleed the life from your enemies.
  • Updated Tactical Battles: Battles are now more intense with additional special skills, combat mechanics, spells and new maps.
  • New Monsters: The legendary heroes didn’t reach our lands alone. The events of the Fallen Enchantress have raised the dead and caused forgotten creatures to return to the surface of the world.
  • More Magic: New spells like ‘Lightning Form’ and ‘Raise Skeletal Horde’ add new options and dangers to battle.
  • Larger Maps: A new gigantic sized map delivers truly epic games.
  • Updated Graphics Engine: An improved graphics engine delivers stunning new visuals while improving performance on older machines.
  • And much, much more!

This game is addictive and fun, but it's also very buggy and crashes. I'd give this a neutral rating if i could but since I can't I went with a negative rating since the bugs stopped me from playing it.

Been playing this on and off for a while now. Has been stable but one of the recent patches has made it buggy to the point of frustrating.

Game has a lot of promise. however DLC does not bring quite enough to the table. A random map generator would be nice also.

Currently feels so buggy. Moving units across the maps then having your hero attacked by itself for no logical reason is dissapointing - as are the random crashes.

Still worth picking up - but lacking "something" that could have made it huge.

Phenomenal game. Very addicting and really fun. This game is a lot like Civilization but it's set in a more medeival fantasy world with dragons, and demons and stuff. Also you can cast spells on the terrain and in combat. I'm a pretty proficient RTS player and this is one the best strategy games I've played in a long time.

I found this game in the bargain bucket in a game store. It was buy three games for £10 and after ages of searching for three games i was interested in i bought them and i have to say it was one of the best purchases i have made in a while. (Especially after seeing it's price on here.)

Now this game doesn't exactly look (graphics wise) that brilliant- especially when comparing it to some games these days, but i think that can be excused. As this game is excellent. I have only put in 9 or 10 hours so far, but those 9 or 10 hours have been both brilliant and frustrating.

My first game (after the tutorial) was fantastic. I was against two easy opponents, but i walked all over them and i had so much fun doing so. My second game i picked a map that was way to small for all 5 of us and as such we soon ran out of room and were all arguing with each other and i probably would have got destroyed if i didn't sorta rage-quit. xD My third game has gone a bit better, but i am still not exactly "Top of the food chain" so to speak and i can totally forsee a long and exciting game ahead of me.

The factions are interesting and quite varied and you can make your own too, which is pretty cool. The heroes are also cool and often amongst the most powerful units in the game and i rather enjoyed making my own hero too- though again they don't look brilliant. The monsters.....sometimes don't look great, but that's not too important really. And can often be excused when your getting destroyed by them or if your good and actually beating them. I love the quests that pop up on the map and give me fun things to do. I've got some seriously powerful units from some of these quests. And i really love the building aspect in the cities. It's simple, with a lot of choice (when it's all researched) though i do feel there could be a lot more base units in the game, but then you can also design your own too, so there could be if you had the time to make them. And i rather like the battle system as well.

So i would totally recommend this game to everyone. :) (Though perhaps not at full price.)

Wonderful game, one of the best TBS games in the genre. Have never had a problem with gameplay such as crashes or problems of that nature. The deep upgrade mechanics and especially the ability to create your own factions and unit in game, that then becomes part of your game to play with as you wish it one of most interesting features of any I've ever played (And since this is my fav genre that means a lot). I will admit that I wont buy any of Stardocks newer titles due to their incorperation of a 34rd party drm, I guess they think they have on the same level as EA and Ubisoft which is NOT an example I would want to follow if they have any sense. Whther they believe it or not, they will lose a lot of sales in jumping on that bandwagon (A wagon most companies have abandoned due to the reporcussions, as most gamers just are not going to put up with it). Still, THIS game does not incorporate that crap so you are in the clear from that crap. As to the price, this is way too much for ANY game imo, but if ya got the money go for it. If not, wait for a sale of any kind. 20@ or under and it's worth it....the DLC likewise is worth it for the partifular game, so many games have dlc that don't do much, the DLC in this game does add enough to justify buying it. Over all one of the best games of this genre/atmosphere.
