Ratopia has been evolving since 2021 with feedback from numerous players. Our hope is to create a memorable game through the suggestions and feedback of many players, ensuring it's not just a game that the development team loves.

We plan for Ratopia to remain in Early Access for approximately one year. We encourage players' feedback and will use it to enhance the game's quality to our best abilities up until the game's completion.

We aim to greatly increase the relatively small amount of content related to character customization, dungeons, and mini-games. We also plan to develop more content, with some current ideas being the addition of electricity, war, and a volcanic biome. In addition, we will consistently improve game performance and user experience through various convenience upgrades and optimization processes.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The Early Access version of Ratopia is fully playable! During its public test in September, there was an average playtime of around 22 hours. Ratopia has a large amount of freedom when it comes to some of the mechanics of the game, allowing for players to govern their cities differently every playthrough. This, alongside other aspects, allow for a fair amount of replayability. Such mechanics include custom city policies, financial systems that citizens utilize, and random terrain generation for every game. Ratopia also currently bolsters over 150 unique structures, with more planned to be added in the future.

When the game is officially released, the price of the game will increase slightly from its current price.
