Short summary: It's fun, has a nice premise, but falls flat on a few ideals of game design that make the game irritating to play. Ranging extremely in difficulty it makes it hard to enjoy this game to it's fullest potential. A controller is a must with this title.
+Nice sense of humor
~Challenging. I put this in the center because it ranges from just right, to too easy, to impossibly hard within the same level.
~Checkpointing. I say this is both good and bad since checkpoints happen very often, which removes a bit of challenge, but in some areas these checkpoints save you from doing the whole level 100 times
-You NEED a controller, keyboard controls are dreadful
-Some sections are too hard, as said above the game can be way too hard at times, with split-second platforming, where with one screw-up you have to do that same section multiple times
Full Summary: In full disclosure I have not beaten the game as I have found it frustrating to advance through anymore. For a lover of platforming challenge I would reccomend this game highly, for a casual platformer though, I would not. This game has a high-expectancy of a player straight from the beginning of the game and I have learned to hate the red lasers that are sprinkled throughout this game as they can, and will, make you ruin in a section multiple times. Within every level there is one main goal, get to the end but to reach said goal you must gain size by abosrbing objects. In sections where you must do this they're most often in a linear path so there isn't much challenge in that aspect, but in some sections of this there will be a platforming trick or ywo you must pull off, often to avoid some red lasers of death. With that goal there is also ones to save your friends and to get balls throughout the level to recieve bonus points.
Final Verdict: 5/10 - WIth the good, comes the bad. This game is a perfect example of it. What this game does right in concept and in theory, it does not always execute well through actualization of concepts through gameplay because of frustrating platforming and wide skill variation.
