64 bit Windows build is live

May 23rd, 2014

Hey guys, we just flipped the switch to enable the 64 bit build of Tiny & Big on Windows. This hopefully means a few good things for those of you running 64 bit Windowses:

  • Physics performance will improve on modern CPUs, we've seen frame rates go up by about 10%
  • Less out-of-memory errors or crashes when running on integrated graphics chips
  • The sweet, fuzzy feeling that your 64 bit hardware purchases are just a little bit more justified.
If it doesn't work for you, especially for those of you running 32 bit Windows, please tell us in the forums. Thanks!

And one more little thing, we recently enabled Steam leaderboards for the game, so you can compare your awesome puzzle solving speed-runs. Enjoy!

This game is very interesting, exciting and entertaining. I also like this crazy story. You can cut and move almost every stone you encounter. I'm loving cutting stones! Try to find your own path and search for different secrets.

Some levels demand the player to arrive at certain places without a well pre-established way. So one need to cut, drag, push stone cubes/pillars/walls/beams etc. You can find alternative ways to beat levels, for example without cutting anything. There are also boss fight stages, where you should evade or cut down the stones thrown at you.

At last I talk about the achievements, 100% completion is not hard. The collection of all flashing stones in episode 4 is quite challenging. Pay attention to the stones on the top of all blue pillars (no guide or video for this achievement). It took me 10 hours in total to get all the achievements.

Fun game. However, its very short, and somewhat less allowing for creative then you might hope it would allow for. Don't expect hours of fun, expect a few.

A very cool game where you move and cut objects to get around. It's pretty short, but there's a lot of optional exploration and collecting if you're into that.

Pretty good little game. Not bad for what it is. Well worth the pirce. Get it now and see. A crazy character too. Also, along the way during his hunt for his grandpas' underpants, he picks up tapes with some good music on it. Depending on where you got the game, it comes with additional soundtracks that can be added to your MP3 player.
