About This Game

Batman: Arkham City builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum, sending players flying through the expansive Arkham City - five times larger than the game world in Batman: Arkham Asylum - the new maximum security "home" for all of Gotham City's thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds. Featuring an incredible Rogues Gallery of Gotham City's most dangerous criminals including Catwoman, The Joker, The Riddler, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze and many others, the game allows players to genuinely experience what it feels like to be The Dark Knight delivering justice on the streets of Gotham City.

Batman: Arkham City - Game of the Year Edition includes the following DLC:

  • Catwoman Pack
  • Nightwing Bundle Pack
  • Robin Bundle Pack
  • Harley Quinn’s Revenge
  • Challenge Map Pack

There's something incredibly exhilharating about playing a grown man in a bat costume and punching up other grown men not in bat costumes.

10/10 would punch again.

this is my first batman game I played

Positive
+Graphic is great
+pretty long story needed 26 hours to finish main story
+lot of challenges that will keep you play the game
+have trophies
+catwoman
+catwoman is well designed (if u know what I mean)
+Batman, after finishing main story you can choose in which outfit you can play
+have new game+ which is great
+3D characters of every character in game
+and of course all bad boyz are in joker, Harley, Bane, Deadshot etc.
+fighting system is good
+voice acting is good

Negative
-well batman is tagged as stealth so I thought u can be ghost
-u cant be ghost, cause after putting enemie to sleep (cant kill) you cant hide the body so the others will find it eventually

Overall
+this game is good, long and I have lot of fun while playing
+my negative thoughts are just my opinion Im not saying game is bad but I would love to have that option to hide a body

Batman: Arkham City is my favorite game of all time. While many game today are criticized for lack of innovation, this game does the exact opposite and greatly adds from it's predecessor arkham asylum. All areas of gameplay include so much more. Combat now has multi-counters, quick gadgets are now more frequent, new takedowns and animations. More gadgets in general like the freeze grenade, remote electical charge, and the distruptor. It features an awesome story set in a walled off section of Gotham turned super-prison, where batman must uncover a sinister plot known as protocol 10. In the game you run into batman's most infamous adversaries like Joker, Mr. freeze, and Penguin through both the main story and side-missions.

Pros:
+All forms of gameplay: combat, stealth, and traversal
+incredibly detailed, filled with easter eggs for batfans
+side-missions
+thrilling story
+huge replay value, tons of riddler trophies, challenges, missions etc.

Cons:
-nothing of note, a few bugs here and there, but this is a solid port

10/10, extremely recommended

Arkham city is one of the best game in the Batman Arkham series, packing action and a great storyline with a satisfying length and good replayability.

The game re-uses the good old Arkham Asylum mechanics (which is the same across all the Arkham games) and expands the explorable area to the whole of Arkham city, a prison city that Bruce Wayne is trying to shut down through the political game. But Dr. Hugo Strange has other plans for Mr. Wayne, namely throwing him into Arkham City with shackles to tie loose ends. Once inside Arkham, Bruce Wayne finds his way to an airdrop with a batsuit sent by Alfred, his butler. He then takes matters into his own hands and clears the city himself.

The gameplay is honestly flawless, as per usual in this game series. Couple that with a nice lengthy storyline (14-16h) that builds upon the Batman universe and characters, such as Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, Bane, The Joker, and many more classic vilains.

I would highly recommend any Batman: Arkham X games, even if you're not a fan of Batman at all. The story is good and easy to get into, the gameplay is noob friendly on low difficulties, and it's overall a very enjoyable experience.

This game is the bets Arkham game story wise. Gamepkay wise would make it the second best with Knight being the best on that. Overall I think this game was amazing. I've beaten this game 5 times on Xbox, Once on PS3, and I am working on it for PC.

This game, in my opion, is the best in the Arkham series. It built upon everything that made Arkham Asylum good and made it better. I would highly recommend it to people who have played any other game in the series or if this is their first Arkham game.
