Awoken is a first-person psychological horror game.
As Alan Mason, you will explore a mysterious facility hidden away from all society haunted by the fact of being alone, an atmospheric world that combines comforting and horrifyingly realistic environments with a genuinely terrifying experience.

Environment

The game is set inside the facility known as Mount Moira Hospital in which terrible things have happened. You’ll wander through the gloomy corridors, explore every room, and get lost in endless mazes as you try to uncover what has happened to your lost family.

Storyline

This facility has a terrible history to it. Patients and inmates were brutally experimented on and murdered by their own doctors, many people were driven insane, many even committed suicide just to escape, and other grisly events have also occurred within the walls of Mount Moira. The entire facility has its history and story painted on the walls. As Alan, you will explore and attempt to uncover Mount Moira’s dark past, and try to uncover the truth as to what caused the disappearance of your family. You’ll soon wish you were home again as you will encounter the horrors of the facility as some experiments have never left. Will you run from the horrors, or will you try to uncover the truth behind all that lies in the darkness?

A Dark History

Mount Moira Hospital has a horrid past consisting of experimental works and many casualties. Delve deep into a mature and morally ambiguous story, where nothing is what it seems and everything has a history to it. You will see, hear and experience the horrors, and it will change your perception on what happened at the Mount Moira Hospital.

Gameplay

In Awoken, As Alan you aren’t defenseless; weapons could save you from the dreadful experiments stalking you around every corner, but they will only do so much. You’ll be able to pick up key elements required for missions, interact with the environment, and search for things that may help you escape this nightmare or will this place trap you deeper within.
