Why Early Access?

“It allows players to support Troll Control right from its beginnings (and grab it cheap too!). Player feedback is very important to make this the game you want to play; new features, suggested changes and bug fixes coming in bi-monthly updates.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Troll Control will be in Early Access during Alpha and Beta stages of development. Beta is expected to end around Q4 2020, leading to Full Version Release and the end of Early Access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early Access versions will be incorporating new features to be tested out and refined. Once all of the planned features reach their final form and they nicely blend together into a polished game Troll Control will go Full Version. Refer to the game description for more on planned features.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“As of Alpha v0.1.5: Players can test out the level generation system by exploring an infinite number of different caves/lava tunnel levels, they can create, save, edit and play with their own characters and choose between 2 mission types (clear dungeon & retrieve artifact).”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will gradually raise as new content and features are shipped.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Establishing a relationship with players early on is one of the reasons why Troll Control went Early Access, so their feedback during development is highly appreciated. Any player who takes the time to submit their ideas, report bugs or comment on features during Early Access on any of the available channels will be credited in subsequent releases. About This Game

Trolls have invaded the land of Anachronia; and that means plenty of coin for adventurers like you!

Swing your sword, shoot your arrows, cast your magic and level up to become the Troll Control Specialist that desperate villagers are longing for. Help them earn back their land, one procedurally generated level at a time, in a quest to send the Troll menace back to the Trolldom.

Troll Control is an Action-Adventure RPG game with procedurally generated environments set in the bizarre high-fantasy world of Anachronia. It is a top-down dungeon crawling experience to play solo or up to 4 players in true couch co-op style!

Players will be creating custom characters and exploring regions of Anachronia in search of missions and quests, visiting its villages and castles and delving into Troll-infested dungeons - even jumping across portals to the Trolldom.
