Why Early Access?

“Mescaline's Wings is a small club led by two people and an indie game studio without any financial support. We started with high expectations for "Yuyuko's Butterfly Dream" and the hope to do better, offering a more diverse and detailed gameplay experience; Catching up on quality with the western indie games has always been our goal, yet we have also met our bottlenecks and saw our shortcomings during the development. To steady our course and commit our promises we need far more than ourselves and the short time given. Therefore we decided to release her as Early Access which would give us supports in many ways to improve our game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“For about six to twelve months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to continuously optimize the gameplay experience and expand the contents. The complete version will contain full levels, diverse collectibles, challenging achievements, complete narratives, smoother operation performance, subtler graphic effects and additional music. We are even hoping to work on some extension projects that may overthrow the framework we have currently.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version of "Yuyuko's Butterfly Dream" possesses two chapters of narratives, providing a lite experience of the game. But there are several problems yet to be balanced and improved. And the prop system is still quite simple. Yet as an Early Access game, she should reveal her charms and prospects.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“After the experience, the price may rise depending on the contents added to the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We would listen carefully to the feedbacks on the Community, sort them out and keep all those advice and ideas in mind. And we would make proper adjustments to the future developing accordingly.”
