What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“TechStoreSimulator combines designing a computer store with managing its day-to-day business. Early Access will allow us to gather player feedback on progression, the economy, interactions and store organization. We want to use this feedback to guide improvements, address reported issues and refine the overall experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimate that Early Access will last approximately one year from its launch. This estimate may change depending on development progress and player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to deepen the management experience, refine economic balance and progression, and improve interactions, the interface and performance. We are also considering expanding store customization options and the product catalog. The scope and priorities may change based on testing and player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version lets players build and furnish a computer store, order stock, receive deliveries, fill shelves, and manage prices and promotions. Players can operate the checkout, hire cashiers and restockers, unlock product licenses, and prepare online orders through to dropping them off for shipping. Revenue, wages and operating costs can also be tracked.

The game is still in development: bugs, balance issues and performance drops may occur, particularly in larger stores. Customer and employee behavior, performance and usability still need further refinement.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually increase the price as we add content and new features, including when the full version is released. Planned price increases will be announced in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to use the Steam discussions to collect bug reports, suggestions and player feedback. Comments on the economy, progression, store layout, and customer and employee behavior will help us identify priorities. We also intend to share development progress and explain changes through update announcements. While we cannot implement every suggestion, community feedback will help inform our decisions.”
