Why Early Access?

“Car Factory Tycoon has a playable factory-building foundation, and we want player feedback to help shape its progression and day-to-day management. During Early Access, we plan to improve how the game teaches production, refine the economy and factory growth, and develop the areas players find most useful and enjoyable.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Car Factory Tycoon to remain in Early Access for roughly 12–15 months, targeting a full release in Q4 2027 (October–December). During that time, we plan to improve onboarding, refine production and progression, expand selected content, and polish the overall experience.

This is an estimate and may change based on player feedback and development progress. We will keep the community informed if our expectations change.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to make the full version a more complete and polished factory-management experience, with clearer guidance, refined production and expansion balance, and improvements to automation and usability. We also intend to explore additional scenarios and vehicle or research choices based on player feedback. The exact content and priorities may change during development.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current build includes a 3D factory, a customizable Car Designer, car assembly and sales, parts deliveries, worker management, research, body panel forming, wheel assembly, factory map progression, five campaigns and open-ended free play. Save/load and migration from earlier saves are supported. Balance, guidance, performance and usability continue to be refined during Early Access. Compatibility across all future updates is not guaranteed.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not plan to change the price during Early Access or when the game leaves Early Access for its full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players can share bug reports, suggestions and their factory-management experiences through Steam Discussions and our Discord community. We plan to review recurring problems and suggestions when choosing updates, explain the changes in patch notes, and share progress as development continues.”
