Now when you hover over stats in the character selection window, details about their improvement will be shown.

Toxic puddles of the player and enemies have become more contrasting.

Dear Players,

We would like to inform you that the Dragona: Fireborne server is now shutdown due to low player numbers and other issues. This decision was made after careful consideration and is a necessary step at this time.

We deeply appreciate everyone who has been a part of our community over the year. We know that changes like this can be challenging, and we want to assure you that we will do our best to minimize any inconvenience.

What you need to know:

Character Transfers: With the closure of the SAWA/SG Server, some transfers from that server to the Global Server have been made. However, the game will only be available until this weekend, after which we will close our server operations. Please stay tuned for updates.

Support: Our support team will be available to help with any questions or issues related to the server closure. You can reach out to us through our usual support channels (Discord > Ticket).

We appreciate your understanding and continued support. We look forward to seeing you on future adventures.

There will be big balance changes with the upcoming season event.

-Enemy damage, defence, health values calculation. The jump on enemy stats with each level is now decreased. The progression will feel much better.
-Player skill damage calculation rework. The skills get more damage from main damage stat.
-New area damage system. With the old system, area damages didn't always hit all enemies, it wasn't always consistent.
-All skill areas are increased.
-Relic combination changes. Especially elemental relics are all combined into one relic, both for skills and basic attack.
-Skill unlock costs are reduced. You can now unlock any active skill without order. The cost of unlocking skill increases with each unlock.
-DoT skill damages are reworked. They are more effective now.
-Cooldown decrease relics are added. Skill cooldowns are increased now but there are cooldown decrease relics which will decrease the cooldown while playing with different actions.
-The effect of Pets are increased.

Improved midway boss fights (not the final boss)
  • Added "stages" to the boss fights.
  • Added new drone-themed boss.
  • Updated/added abilities, special attacks & tweaked stats for bosses.
  • Sentry guns are now always one-shotted by bosses.

Audio Soundscape experiments for rooms.

Made bullet impacts on metal more audible.

Drones now have natural res (+25) vs static instead of viral (they still cannot get infected)

Fixed a bug where summoned units wouldn't chase the player correctly.

Fixed inconsistencies with level amount displayed in the HUD.

Changed XP numbers to display the sum of all gained XP / required XP (combined from all previous levels) to reach next level.
(rather than just XP required from the current level to the next)

Fixed XP bar getting updated correctly on startup when entering a new level or reloading.

Improved static impact FX

Added two new weapon upgrades to the sword
  • Static upgrade changes the weapons damage type to static, increases damage by +20 and fires off a lightning strike on each hit.
  • Sonic upgrade changes the weapons damage type to sonic, increases damage by +35 and hits in a larger cone.

Fixed bugged sound attenuation settings.

Reduced damage from fire on the ground from exploding enemies and now scales their duration with size of creature.

Improved floating text.

- The problem that occurred when the hologram of the product remained open when you pressed the "Q" key while holding any product in your hand has been resolved.

-The issue where it was not clear which product was expensive after customers found the products expensive has been resolved.

Since the release one month ago, we have been actively iterating based on players' feedback and suggestions. Our primary focus has been improving the UI and enhancing the overall player experience.

Next, we plan to address game balance and difficulty, aiming to provide a rewarding challenge for all players, from casual gamers to hardcore enthusiasts and even sadistic goblin gods. Following this, we intend to introduce additional content such as new items, quests, the new "alchimechanics" skill, and—hopefully—new scenarios to offer more varied playthroughs.

Endless Tactics - the_procrastinator
As the launch time window approaches, here comes, even though not as big as the previous ones in terms of content, a very necessary Update nonetheless. In the Cleansing Update, I've decided to address all of the last remaining major hurdles, so that the .1 of development can be entirely focused on polishing, addressing feedback, and filling in the last visual (and sonoral) gaps of Endless Tactics! Yes, including the long due addition of Operation 3, which is coming soon - along with the full version of the game.



CHANGES

  • Options Menu - Tweak and toggle everything you can imagine, from the basics such as Resolution, Window Mode, to even several gameplay elements like the Grid X-Ray, Screen Shake, Confirmation Prompts, and much more!
  • Swarm Event - New unique Event. For every Corrupted Tile in the battlefield, there's a small chance of spawning an Enemy Egg! So now more than ever, be sure to Cleanse them all before it's too late.
  • Reworked Corruption Spread - As the name says, the spread logic has been vastly improved with the use of an improved flood-filling algorithm and actual pathfinding! Also now making it much fairer on the case you decide to trim out some Nest-spawned Corruption, as it'll now gradually regenerate rather than all at once like before.
  • Screen Transitions.
  • Steam Integration - Steam Clouds, Demo detection, and more!
  • Major Optimizations.
  • Better Corruption Cleansing - Targeting logic for Corrupted Tiles is now much more intuitive! To counteract the new changes applied to Corruption, it is now also much easier to get rid of!
  • Addressed User-Feedback - Several major and minor playtester complaints addressed, more to follow!
  • Reworked Wave Spawn - On the topic of User Feedback, here's a major change; now before Nests Surge, the player will be able to preemptively position around their predefined spawn points or even block them from surging! Also including major improvements to Wave pacing, and thus a huge reduction to Dead Turns.
  • Reworked New Player UX - Brand new Trial Run to directly guide new players into unlocking the game's core features as quickly as possible, also based on playtester feedback!
  • Better Upgrades Menu - Rebalanced several Upgrades and reworked how the toggle system works so that it can create much more interesting choices for the player.
  • Reworked Hover Panels.
  • Improved Menus.
  • Special Ability Damage Scaling - Now they don't get left out for the late game anymore!
  • Grid Logic Improvements.
  • Several balance Changes.
  • Terrain Move Costs - Brand new system for terrain move costs, which is going to be used quite extensively for Operation 3, and already is by the Water Tiles in the previous one.

    • Alternate names for these toolsets are Visual Studio 2013 (MSVC 12.0) & Visual Studio 2022 (MSVC 14.3).
