As you know, our small studio L7team has been working simultaneously on two projects: MILFs of Sunville and Breeze of Passion.

We're happy to announce that work on Breeze of Passion is complete, and the game has been released.

This means we can now fully focus on developing MILFs of Sunville and create even more juicy and exciting content for the game!

Work on the next update of MILFs of Sunville is in full swing!

  • Hero Challenge
    - 👤 An exciting single player challenge mode now available on all platforms.
    - 🏹 Challenge Quincy, Gwen, Striker Jones, and T.D. in practice games to hone your skills.
    - 🎈 You can send bloons to build your income but they won’t damage your opponent.
    - ⏲ Survive the final round to win the challenge!
  • New Hero Screen
    - ♾ We have redesigned the hero screen to better support the growing roster of heroes in Battles 2.
    - 📋 Each hero now has a summary page showcasing their most important upgrades.
    - 📑 We have added the ability to sort and filter heroes by different criteria, making it even easier to find the one you’re looking for.
    - 📛 All heroes now have a role which shows what kind of playstyle they are best suited to.
    - 💥 Defenders focus on popping bloons by dealing damage.
    - 💫 Controllers specialise in hindering the bloons with debuffs and status effects.
    - 💞 Supporters buff your other monkeys, making them more powerful.
    - 💸 Money Makers do just that, make money! They can supplement your income.
    - 🦹‍♂️ Saboteurs interfere with your opponent in some way, such as by stealing their cash.
General Changes
  • 🎴 The Daily Jackpop has been moved to the store and combined with the daily freebie. The rewards from the non-jackpop cards have been increased to reflect the merge.
  • ⏸ The pause screen in Hero Challenge now has a resume button instead of a restart button for clarity. Restart has been moved to the central column.
Balance Changes
  • Dart Monkey
    - 🏹 xx3 Crossbow pierce: 6 -> 8
    - 🏀 xx4 Sharp Shooter: Bolts now ricochet once after the first hit.
    - 💥 xx5 Crossbow Master: Crit damage 50 -> 100
    - 💭 The crossbow is the least used of the Dart Monkey’s upgrade paths. The Juggernaut and Super Monkey Fan Club both have their niche with high pierce group popping and concentrated single target damage respectively. We are buffing the Crossbow Monkey to give it a place somewhere between the two with solid pierce and damage and some slight seeking to ensure it makes the most out of its pierce.
  • Monkey Sub
    - 💥 xx4 Armor Piercing Darts: 2 damage -> 3 damage
    - 💭 The bottom path sub is often neglected for the top path Reactor and the middle path First Strike upgrades. While this damage buff may look minor, it stacks quickly due to the high attack speed of the bottom path sub and the xx5 Sub Commander’s ability to double the damage of other subs. We hope this will make the bottom path sub a more appealing choice for DPS on maps where space isn’t an issue while preserving the middle path’s identity as elite MOAB stopping power.
  • Monkey Buccaneer
    - 💰 3xx Destroyer: $2700 -> $2200
    - ⏳ 140 Faster Shooting: Ability Cooldown 30s -> 20s.
    - 💥 xx2 Crows Nest: All attacks deal +2 damage to camo bloons, including attacks from the 4xx and 5xx planes.
    - 🚢 xx5 Trade Empire: Merchantmen ships generate +5% -> +10% income per round. Capped at 20 -> 10 Merchantmen.
    - 💭 The top path buccaneer does not currently see a lot of use, either as a crosspath or as a main upgrade, so we want to add some buffs to make it a more appealing option. The xx5 Trade Empire’s limit of 20 Merchantmen came from BTD6 and is very difficult to reach in the smaller maps of Battles 2. We are therefore increasing the buff while lowering the cap to make it easier to get the full value of the upgrade in a smaller space.
  • Mortar Monkey
    - 🎯 000 Mortar now includes Increased Accuracy from 001 as standard (spread 18 -> 8).
    - 🎯 xx1 Increased Accuracy replaced with Dynamic Targeting, which costs $400 and allows the Mortar to aim itself at the strongest bloon on screen or the area with the most densely packed bloons.
    - 💰 xx2 Burny Stuff $700 -> $500
    - 💭 The randomness of the Mortar has never been popular and the xx1 upgrade has often felt like a tax to remove RNG than an upgrade in its own right. The new Dynamic Targeting upgrade will hopefully give interesting crosspath options to the other upgrades, allowing the Mortar to easily focus fire on strong MOABs or maximise the impact of stunning by automatically aiming for the densest cluster of bloons. Manual targeting will likely still remain the most consistent option for effects like Signal Flare and Burny Stuff that just want to hit every bloon once.
  • Ninja Monkey
    - 💰 x5x Grand Saboteur: $25,000 -> $20,000
    - 🌸 x5x Grand Saboteur: All x3x and above Ninja Monkeys in range, including the Grand Saboteur itself, gain +10 range and +2 MOAB damage.
    - 💭 The Grand Saboteur is the weakest of the Ninja Monkey’s tier 5 upgrades. We are bringing over a popular balance change from BTD6 in order to improve its usage, although we are limiting it to only Ninjas in the Grand Saboteur’s range rather than a map wide buff to limit its interaction with other, more powerful combos.
  • Spike Factory
    - 💰 5xx Super Mines: $110,000 -> $90,000
    - 💣 5xx Super Mines: Explosion Pierce 60 -> 80
    - 💭 Super Mines is by far the least used of Spike Factory’s tier 5 upgrades, overshadowed by Carpet of Spikes and Permaspike. We are making it more affordable while also buffing its pierce to make it more capable of dealing with its main weakness of tight ZOMGs.
  • Biker Bones
    - 💣 Level 3: Concussive shot radius 27 -> 40
    - 💣 Level 3: Concussive shot pierce 48 -> 72
    - 🎯 Level 3: Concussive shot now aims at densest area, not strongest bloon.
    - 💭 The dense bloon targeting we added for Mortar in this update felt like it would be a good fit for Biker Bones as well, allowing him to affect more bloons with the stun and fire effects of his ability and further distinguish him from Striker Jones.
  • Etienne
    - ⌛ Level 3: Drone Swarm Ability cooldown 45s -> 60s
    - ⌛ Level 16: Drone Swarm Ability cooldown 40s -> 45s
    - 💭 Etienne’s ability is extremely effective at clearing up early game rushes. We are increasing the cooldown to ensure that Etienne players cannot rely on it entirely and still need to spend on their early game defence.
Bug Fixes
  • 🦹‍♀️ Fixed issue where Adora could appear visually as Dark Adora. Dark Adora does not feature in Battles 2.
  • 👨‍🌾 Fixed issue where collectables picked up by the Banana Farmer would leave their visual on screen.
  • 🦸‍♂️ Fixed issue where selling a x4x or x5x Dart Monkey while the SMFC/PMFC ability was active would cause the affected monkeys to visually revert to Dart Monkeys while still attacking like Supermonkeys. The ability now persists both visually and mechanically after the sale.
  • ⛔ Fixed issue that would occasionally cause the game to think that the user account was already online and prevent it signing in.
  • 🛳 Fixed issue where monkeys could not be placed on the 5xx Buccaneer’s platform if there was another monkey behind it.
  • 🌞 Fixed issue where monkeys could be placed on the same space if a 5xx Buccaneer was sacrificed to a Sun Temple.

This version fix a lot of issues, and also add a new mage talent.

I am also going to improve VR support a lot in the coming weeks.

Hello everyone!

If you are trying to play from Russia, you may have noticed that the mutliplayer button is currently unclickable. Meaning you do not have access to our servers at the moment.
This situation is unfortunately outside of our control and deserves some clarification.

Starting this Friday, our servers could not be reached from Russia. Following a thorough investigation on our end, we can safely determine that the source of the issue is exterior to our infrastructure. We suspect the root cause to be outside of our control. Thanks to the help and comments from our community, we noticed that players could join our servers by using third-party tools, masking their country of origin. As we speak the issue seems to be limited to the Russian territory.

To help us figure out how to solve this issue and asking for your assistance, we have opened a temporary Steam Forum.

It's Only Money - LameBoyColors
Undercitizens, the day is here.

It's Only Money is graduating from Early Access to a 1.0 release, and with this update comes a lot of features we're excited to discuss. Before we tuck in to the new stuff, we'd like to spend a moment reminiscing of our Early Access journey.



Since our launch into Early Access with Chapter Zero, we've gathered feedback and ideas from the community and divvied big ticket items into major updates, culminating with a new chapter full of major improvements and new systems.

Whether it's the earliest overhaul of the vitals system, improved house customisation systems, vehicle purchasing or even hidden collectables like the Bogan Balloons, we've had a ton of fun taking your feedback and doing our best turning them into tangible features in It's Only Money.

Additionally, when we get reports for crashing and performance issues, we've done our best to assess and fix where possible - and we understand, there's always more to do. We encourage those reports to keep coming.

All that to say, thank you for joining us on our journey so far. Your help as a community has been invaluable and we truly hope at some point along the Early Access timeline we've made one or two things that you've really loved in Rockhaven.

With all that out of the way, let's dig into some of the key content and features that arrive with the 1.0 update:


Takeover: Rockhaven City



The Mayor arc is coming to a close. It's time to take the fight directly to that pesky little Mayor who threw you and many others underground. As is tradition for Takeover missions, these are our larger more cinematic missions that deliver story exposition and new mechanics.



We don't want to spoil too much about this one other than it's an explosive resolution to the story that started in Chapter Zero. Give that Mayor one from us.

EXP System and Modifiers



With our work in Chapter Three, we explored rogue-like elements with the Metro Dungeon and MOVR HQ Takeover. We found it a lot of fun to break the game with OP stats and abilities and we thought why not give the players the power in general. Starting today, almost everything you do in the city will reward some EXP points, and once you earn enough you'll gain a stat point. These can be spent on a multitude of persistent statistics like unarmed damage, jump height or even movement speed. The more you play, the more brokenly powerful you'll become! We've had a ton of fun messing with different builds and we're looking forward to seeing the inevitable one-punch-man build someone'll make.



It's not just inherent power that we put in your control. Introducing Modifiers! These are fun little effects that modify your game play in humorous or novel ways. Some highlights include anti-grav knockout, which sends enemies into orbit upon a KO hit, or allergy hit, which causes an enemies head to grow with every hit. Others, like 12 FPS or Baby Mode are fun visual twists that allow you to see the game in a new way.



Every 10 levels you earn you'll unlock a new modifier slot, so it's completely possible to mix and match a bunch and make It's Only Money look like some kind of hacked-up nightmare. Do your thing!



Some time ago, we added mini-bosses that patrol the streets. We conveyed that eventually they'll have a fun purpose, well, today is that day! Now when you knock out mini-bosses, you'll unlock DNA points toward one of the aforementioned modifiers, and there's a chance to get DNA points from chests, too. If you've got your eye on a particular modifier, hunt for those purple beams throughout Rockhaven - there'll be a miniboss waiting there!

Odd Jobs!



Need cash, quick? Upon completion of Takeover: Rockhaven, you'll unlock the Odd Jobs application. Players who've played the Minimum Wage demo will be familiar with this system, but for the uninitiated, Odd Jobs will continually spin up smaller dynamic missions. In essence, you'll never not have something to do in It's Only Money. Whether it's small combat encounters, or some sightseeing, you'll be paid for your time, and of course, all of this is playable in Multiplayer.

Radio and audio Overhaul



Rockhaven FM is now broadcasting over the airwaves in Rockhaven! That's right, we have some fully voiced radio segments including our favorite german fashion designer, DJ Steezy. He'll comment on the absurdity of the city in general, while interspersed with adverts from various brands throughout Rockhaven. Not only that, but some general SFX passes have been done to the world. We hope your ears appreciate the changes.

New Collectables: EBE's children



EBE's not a great Alien. He has problems, this we know. One of his problems is sending human rap records back to his family on Zeta Reticuli. Unfortunately for him, his children are now anti-authority and have run away from their mother's ship. It's up to you to scour Rockhaven and return EBE's kids to the craft before they start committing crimes. We can't be having that in Rockhaven. There's 33 to collect, and if you listen close enough, you'll hear them rapping before they lock eyes with you.

Steam Achievements, and more!

And of course, with 1.0 comes the addition of Steam Achievements The currently available Steam Achievements are of two schools of design, you'll earn 1 for each story Takeover completed, and the others are gated behind Wiener badge progress. We wanted to allow players to engage with the activities they liked to earn the achievements, and not be forced into any one avenue to earn that sweet 100% completion.

Additionally, there's been a ton of smaller QOL and bug fixes as we've been making this batch of content, and a general tidy up on some of the performance issues we've been able to replicate.

Where to from here?

Of course, we'll be on deck ready to receive more reports and fix up anything we've missed, and we have some smaller additions we'd like to make with our inevitable hotfixes. Beyond that, the team has earned some much needed rest, but before we do any of that, we once again feel it's important to say:

Thank you for joining us on this journey. The development thus far has been intense, at times overwhelming, but satisfying and something we're really proud of as a team. For a team of five from the bottom of the world, we hope you feel that we've punched above our weight class. We're super grateful to all of you who've joined along the path, or if you're just checking it out today.
