The Braves - 腾蛇

Brave Ones!

We are pleased to present a new issue of the Developer Diary!

For all those who crave knowledge about the changes and innovations awaiting the world of Singoru in the near future, we are ready to lift the veil of secrecy. In this new issue, we will show you a new portal, introduce the new heroes who will appear in it, and their appearances!

New Portal

They died…

Elai’s last breath dissolved in the poisonous mist. Tordi fell into an eternal slumber in the snowy mountains. And Roxy… well, more on her later. But instead of oblivion—a radiant rift where the Ether whispered: "Step through."

Passing through the gates became a new birth. Poison became an extension of Elai. Frost bowed to Tordi. Fire reignited within Roxy.

The Ether calls new chosen ones. Whose spirit is strong enough to accept the gift of rebirth? Whose story will begin beyond these gates?

Elai – The Poison Keeper

In her past life, Elai was a humble healer from medieval China, a lover of herbs, ointments, and reckless experiments—especially on herself.

Elai wasn’t just a poison expert—she was literally made of them. Years of self-testing turned her body into something between an apothecary and a toxic swamp puddle. When she invented a universal antidote and proudly drank it, everything went exactly as planned. The antidote did defeat the poison. Except the poison was her body. So the antidote, following its instructions perfectly, completely neutralized Elai. No side effects.

Fortunately, death turned out to be temporary. Elai awoke in a new world, more energetic than ever, with a crossbow in hand and an even greater passion for poisons. Now she’s a heroine who literally radiates toxicity. Any monster daring to get close starts bubbling within seconds. And those who keep their distance? She can reach them with her trusty crossbow—loaded with thunderbolts. Poisoned ones.

How does poison even work through lightning? No one knows. Elai says: "Alchemical secret." Then she winks. Very suspiciously.

Herbal Experiment

While battling in the grim walls of laboratories, Elai discovered intriguing records on alchemical experiments with mutagens derived from plant-based poisons. This experiment fascinated her—new knowledge, after all.

She spent long nights hunched over a new formula. Dozens of sleepless nights, thousands of failed attempts, hundreds of liters of tea laced with a drop of poison (for strength) finally bore fruit!

The experimental concoction "Stem #3826" was ready—a thick, murky liquid smelling of fresh roots and milk oolong. As always, Elai tested it on herself first. Three minutes later, she was lying on the floor, bubbling, with a sprout growing from her ear.

When she woke up, she was no longer herself. Her skin became smooth as petals, vines coiled around her. Plants grew around her on their own—sometimes too aggressively. Rumor has it she sometimes turns into a flower. But only when no one’s watching.

Roxy – The Fiery Hellion

"What awaits me after death?" Roxy spat at such nonsense. Her life was a whirlwind—parties, brawls, insane parachute jumps—anything that made her blood boil. If someone gave her a dirty look? They’d get a fist to the face. Easy as pie.

But fate? A real bitch. In another brawl, someone stuck something sharp in her—maybe a knife, maybe a shard from the bottle she’d just smashed over the offender’s head. And just like that, she was on the other side.

"What awaits me after death?!" Roxy smirked. "Screw you all! Now I’m an immortal queen!" she roared, admiring herself in the mirror.

Singoru gave her everything she ever wanted: eternal adrenaline, a killer look, and superpowers. Summoning demons to explode in enemies’ faces? Easy! Throwing Molotovs that burn brighter than some mage’s spells? Child’s play!

"Embrace me, new world—the great and terrible hellion…" she mused. "Or maybe… Super-Arch-Hellion-Flame Empress, Mother of Fire, Head-Smasher…" She burst out laughing. "Got a bit carried away."

Well then, Singoru, get ready! The rebel hellion has arrived to turn your world upside down! Let all hell tremble!

Returning to Roots

"What if… just for fun… I become human again? Like the good old days—skin that doesn’t burn in the sun, nails that don’t cut metal?"

Honestly, the idea wasn’t genius, but Roxy was hooked. First, she tried concentrating—maybe her inner human would emerge. It didn’t. Then she tried old phrases: "Sim-salabim," "Shazam!" "Moon Prism…"—no luck.

But Roxy doesn’t give up. She kicked open the nearest tavern door, scanned the room, and spotted a suspicious guy in a shiny vest, with cartoonish mustache and the gaze of a seasoned magician.

"You, fancy-shirt wonder—a mage?" Roxy loomed over him.

"Of course, child of flame! I am the Magnificent Illusionist!" he declared, flourishing a handkerchief that released a dove.

"I need to turn human again. Without all this." She pointed at her horns, tail, and other bonuses.

The mage (or illusionist—hard to tell) flashed a dazzling smile, waved his hands three times, and shouted:

"Akhalay-Makhalay-Baraboom!"

He coughed, spat, and vanished in a puff of confetti.

Roxy was already summoning a three-tiered selection of curses when she noticed—her skin was lighter, her nails normal, her tail gone! She rushed to a broken shop window, looked at herself—good old Roxy again! Well, almost. Her hair was better. And her skin glowed.

"Akhalay-Makhalay, seriously?!" she yelled into nowhere. And of course, she smiled.

Widely. Like a human. And like a demon. Simultaneously.

Tordi – The Boy Who Froze on the Path to His Dream

Once, there was a boy named Tordi who adored the stars. One day, he decided to steal a star from the sky. His parents laughed:

"That’s like trying to catch the moon with a butterfly net!"

But Tordi was stubborn. At night, he climbed the mountains. The cold pierced his bones, but he didn’t give up. By morning, he collapsed from exhaustion… and woke up with the magical power of ice!

Suddenly, a monster leaped from behind a rock. In panic, Tordi shot icicles—and a skating rink formed beneath the monster. It slipped so spectacularly even Tordi giggled.

In the valley, Tordi met a creature like an ice statue. It moved… and talked?

"First time here?" asked Jack.

"Yeah," Tordi replied.

"Welcome to Singoru! Here, we ice guardians protect the world from evil."

Since then, Tordi and Jack became a team. Rumor has it, if you climb the mountain, you can see them circling monsters, freezing them faster than grandma makes compote.

And the star? Still in the sky—proud of its brave admirer.

The Ring That Granted Power

In the distant reaches of Singoru, where impassable peaks scraped the heavens and eternal ice gripped the land, the brave Tordi wandered. Deep within an ancient temple hidden among glacial halls, he discovered a wondrous artifact—a ring encased in ice, yet radiating strange, inexplicable warmth.

The ancient relic granted its wearer the power to change forms. Of all possible shapes, Tordi chose the guise of a humble wanderer—he liked its unassuming nature. Now, he could walk among mortals without losing a shred of his icy might.

Even as a young traveler, an unseen frosty haze surrounded him, hindering foes. None knew that beneath the guise of a simple drifter lurked the master of frost and cold.

"If only my old man could see me now. He wouldn’t believe it," Tordi sometimes chuckled, watching his enemies’ baffled faces.

That’s All for Now!

Australian Football Coach 2023-24 - Statto Software

Version 1.29 is out now with some bug fixes and nice quality of life updates to help you better coach your team!

This started from the premise of trying to add additional information to the statistics pages and while most statistical updates are going to have to wait for a completely new edition of the game, there are a couple more available filters for you to weed out players who haven't played much.

There are additional news items, additional navigation during certain points of the season, additional information when selecting your team including adding seasonal player ratings to the selection screen, and updates to starting custom leagues, especially with stadium capacity. You can also see player potential on the training screen, if they've been scouted properly!

Major fixes include a big issue with the interchange screen not always being properly updated, the score worm not properly resetting between games (which was a major bug for awhile and was a simple if not easy fix) and fixing the fact players stopped telling you if they didn't like your contract offer during free agency.

There's also an ongoing move to make the match engine more "editable" for some of the power users - you can now change a scenario's overall tempo by editing some of the game's data files, which can help raise or lower the number of disposals generated by the game engine.

Hopefully there's going to be at least one more update before the end of the men's real life season so keep following and making suggestions and bug reports!

+ added: can now filter player statistics by games played

+ added: injury column back to team player screen

+ added: stadiums now get generated with variable capacity, not just 10,000

+ added: you can now control overall match engine tempo by setting the tempo_weight in Settings.csv (lower=faster)

+ added: all players on a user's team now get a scouting report at the start of the year

+ added: new news item if you qualified for/failed to make finals

+ added: player log for team best and fairest runner up/3rd place

+ added: updated menu for the offseason takes you directly to trade/zoning/free agency screens

- fixed: full screen resolution issue (crosses fingers)

- fixed: text issue if player signed an extension as a rookie

- fixed: may have finally solved the score worm not disappearing bug

- fixed: home team would always get credit for scoring runs in articles

- fixed: regular season starting article would trigger on playoff start

- fixed: interchange screen would not always display correct team

- fixed: the news telling you a player didn't like your free agency offer wasn't working

- improved: hopefully more variety in contract lengths

- improved: fictional players on professional teams have a higher starting lower base, should make for better players when starting a custom game

- improved: players don't always just sign or ask for two-year extensions anymore

- improved: more information on training panel

- improved: more information on selection panel

- improved: you won't notice this but introduced "new technology" when clicking on players, making sure you'll never click on the wrong player on at least one statistics screen - sometimes the game can get mixed up and take you to a different player than the one you clicked, this bug will slowly be fixed
