Edge Islands Playtest - slages
Hi adventurers,

v0.306 is now available on the playtest branch:

  • Improved bed assignment system to avoid issues with units not sleeping in a bed. Beds will need to be assigned again on existing saves!
  • Fixed an issue with units ID not properly assigned after a unit leaves the colony
  • Water is now taken into account in area limits, so it's now possible to close a fence by building it on a water shore
  • Fixed an issue with dropping animals on their area causing the unit to move it again on another spot
  • Fixed dungeon world icon not displaying the correct level
  • Added the newsletter link to the main menu
  • Various localization fixes

Quality of Life Improvements
  • Wheel colliders now count as part of the parent block. This helps the Circuits & Systems Proximity Sensor see them
  • Conveyors:
    • Now show a preview when being placed
    • Visually connect to neighbour crafting in/outputs
    • The Alternating Conveyor now has Circuits & Systems control (flags dictate output)
  • Improved handling of mod loading on startup
  • All Mods now load on start-up, instead of just the 50 most recent
  • Tech Placement direction is now shown and can be rotated
  • Added Space Junkers Techs to enemy population
  • Circuits & Systems snapshot loading performance enhancements
Design Tweaks
  • Space Junkers can now be unlocked in Co-op Campaign
  • Updated blocks available in Sumo & Gauntlet

It’s update day and what an update it is!

First off we have Motorhead Pack - the fastest, slickets, most long-hair-don’t-care DLC to date. Named as an homage to car, motorcycle and truck enthusiasts around the world.

Our little game sure has come a long way since the template car from Stranded. The diversity in building has increased exponentially - and with Motorhead Pack they are about to look cooler than ever.

BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE

The free 1.9 “Pedal to the Medal” update is of course also available now and it brings heaps of new opportunities in terms of both logic and design. Windshields, brackets, and a bunch of new rounded wedge corners are sure to help you shape the vehicles just the way you want. To top it off we got no less than 7 (!) new logic blocks for you to nerd-out with including the highly praised Accumulator Block that’s gonna save you a ton of complexity.
