Another quick update of fixes for the bugs reported on the discussions page and the Discord.

And just and update on bigger changes, the next addition to the game will likely be an "Introduction to Git" mode. There have been more players than I anticipated interested in the game that don't have much of a background in Git.

These will be simple challenges that inform the player about the basic concepts of Git, Repositories, and how to use the official documentation & help commands. Hopefully these will act as a "tutorial" that will lead you into playing the featured Challenge Mode and reduce the reliance on using hints.

Changes
  • If target lock fails during W.A.R.B.O.T.’s missile phase, it will skip ahead to its next attack phase. (Missiles that failed to lock onto a target will just detonate at random points on the ground.)
  • Updated the flame effects on the upgraded Enlightened Crown so that the shards are still partially visible.
  • Added “companion” tag to friendly Terramites so that your default action on them is not Attack.
  • Helpers like Woby will no longer try to pick up friendly Terramites.
  • Added new strings and sounds for Wandering Trader.
Bug Fixes
  • Adjusted Brightshade Paladin Helm skin art to fit its lunar effect on the back of the helm.
  • Fixed Bush Hat Cawnival Shrub skin not having a ground shadow when used.
  • Fixed dug Berry Bush turning invisible when changing it to its base skin.
  • Fixed dug Cawnival Shrub skin missing its ground shadow art.
  • Fixed Berry Bush losing its skin when dug or turned into a Scared Stiff plant.
    • We’re aware it’s not possible to change their skin once they’re a Scared Stiff plant and we’re working on a fix for it.
  • Fixed skinned Terramites sometimes showing the default inventory icon.
  • Fixed bug where Terramites did not reactivate if repaired from your inventory.
  • Fixed bug with Terramite’s deploy point on boats not updating correctly.
  • Terramites will now stay deactivated while floating in the ocean.
  • Fixed crash sometimes when hostile Terramites finish self repairing after W.A.R.B.O.T. was already defeated and removed.
  • Fixed crash sometimes when there are still active Thermalock Missiles after W.A.R.B.O.T. is fully disengaged.
  • Fixed bug where Thermalock Missiles were hitting your mount instead of you even though they should be considered projectiles.
  • Fixed bug with W.A.R.B.O.T. sometimes getting stuck trying to reset.
  • Fixed bug with Houndius Shootius and Winona’s Catapult locking onto non-targetable entities.
  • Fixed bug with Inimical Gestalts not despawning when a Player dies.
  • Fixed incorrect icon for Pearl in World Progression Filters.
  • Fixed bug with Greater Gestalt’s Scrapbook image.

  • Added: Torpedo Tracking Camera (Button usable after firing torpedos)

  • When tracking a torpedo and it explodes camera will switch to free view to look at the explosion
  • Added: Stop Watch ‘ghost needle’. Seconds will turn red when the torpedo predicted hit time is less than 1 minute.

Hey everyone!

We just updated the demo again. It's a small update, but we couldn't wait to show off Okko's new swimming animation!

Patch Notes:

  • Updated Okko's swimming animation!

  • Fixed a typo in the Tutorial dialogue.

  • Fixed a bug with the "Laser" in The Old Throne.

  • Updated the sound effect for when Okko hits an object, with good Heartbeat Timing, but Focus Mode is turned off.

  • Fixed a bug where, if Okko deflected a fireball upwards, it would not rotate up.

Also, we wanted to let you know that the Okko The Exiled Demo will be live on Steam through July 31st. (Meaning it'll become inactive/unavailable on August 1st.) We'll remind you again when we get closer to the deactivation date.

We've already started planning a new and improved demo, which would go live closer to launch, where save data carries over to the full game. We'll have more news about that in the future.

Millie Megavolte 8: Millie and the Mole King - Myroid-Type Comics
This update includes achievements and some other features to prepare for release.

Millie Megavolte 8 will be leaving Early Access soon. Here's what to expect:
- The base game will continue to be free.
- There will be a new Millie MegaPass DLC for $5. In addition to in-game content it will include the soundtracks for this and all previous Millie games.
- Without the MegaPass, you will only be able to play as Millie, Lance, Kilzek, and Anne in Journey Modes.

- Achievements have been added to the game.
- Solo Journey now tracks and displays the highest difficulty you completed on each character.

Account Purse
- Gelder and Mana Crystals earned while playing are added to the account gelder purse.
- Mana Crystals are worth 1 gelder.
- Earnings are saved after completing a story.
- Earnings are saved after every stage in Journey Mode.

Wardrobe
- All cosmetics have been locked except for defaults and items related to owning other games.
- You will need to buy weapons and outfits with gelder to use them again.
- All cosmetics cost 300 gelder.
- If you own the related game for a cosmetic you don't have to pay for it.

Fixes
- Corrected the hitbox for Gem Head's boulders.

Hello everyone!

I wanted to share a quick update and address some ongoing issues with controller support.

First, regarding controller issues: I’ve seen a lot of reports, and I’m actively working on a fix. In the meantime, a common solution is to disable Steam Input in your Steam settings — this resolves the issue in most cases. So if your controller isn't working, please check that Steam Input is turned off.

Also, I just made a small update:

-Added a new item

-Improved the stamina system slightly

-Fixed a few minor bugs

Hi everyone!

Today's update brings two new guns, two new arrogant weapons, a new single player speed-run level, a new map, a new ultimate ability and a new game mode!


Ronin - Primary weapon
A powerful sword with four different attack types.

Vulture - Primary Weapon
Alt fire Shoots out tracking darts. After opponent is tracked bullets heat seek them.

New Game Mode: Time Loop
Things are about to get crazy. Every round your actions are recorded. Every round there is one more version of you! Save your past selves, or destroy the time orbs to permanently remove the past versions of your enemies!

New Single Player mission: Time Loop Prefer single player, but want to get involved in the time mayhem? In this new level you fight YOURSELF! Switch back and forth between assassin and bodyguard. Every time you must be slightly faster, or your past versions will defeat you!

Unlock the Arrogant version of the Ronin and Vulture by speed-running this level!

New Map: Glass Tower
Want to go fast? Want less things in your way? This map features huge open spaces and bounce pads to send you flying. Be careful though, or you'll fall into the energy pits!

New Ultimate: Time Breaker
Activate to give yourself infinite time energy, and see orbs that reveal enemies in the opposite timeline.

Bot Improvements:
In CTF, you can now take the Power Core from your bot by walking up to them.

Weapon Balances:

Timesight: Increased body shot damage by 3, and reduced headshot damage by 1.
The gun felt too inconsistent because of the very low body shot damage. This should resolve that, while also keeping it balanced.

Bug Fixes:
-Fixed navigation on night map, and on Snow City, so bots properly navigate.
-Fixed some situations where the Timesight would look like it was shooting, when it was not
-Fixed an issue where using the Arrogant Ghost and switching to your pistol would still show the Ghosts over-charge cylinder
-Many others
