…Or rather, they’ve actually been out for around 2 weeks already.

You may be wondering why I didn’t make an announcement here earlier. Well, giving myself some time after publishing allowed me to make extra changes, fix bugs, and polish rough edges! That’s why I think now is finally the right time to make a proper announcement here.

What’s in the Playtest?
In this playtest, you can play through the full CHAPTER 1 and CHAPTER 2. If you’re out of the loop, that’s 2 out of 3 chapters.

Currently, after a big break, I’ll be starting the long journey of developing CHAPTER 3 (c’mon, I’ve been working on this game for 3 years now, I needed a break, lmao).

But worry not! I plan to keep you updated on Chapter 3’s development as it goes on, including later in this post.

First, let’s talk about what’s actually included in the PLAYTEST.

Chapter 1 includes around 20 minutes of gameplay and serves as a prologue to the game’s story!
In this chapter, you’ll encounter 2 chase sequences, a small boss encounter, lots of spooks, and even some exploration. It also introduces the phone’s first ability: FLASH!

This chapter also features the first and for now, only CD Disc in the game (the full release will include more).

Chapter 2 continues the story, introducing the main villain along with three very important characters who play a key role in the plot.

In this chapter, you'll face 3 challenging boss encounters, with funky reactive music! As well as 3 chases, some spooks, easy yet fun puzzles and fun lore!

This chapter also introduces the phone’s second ability: SONAR.

Well, I can definitely make a few promises. I can’t guarantee I’ll deliver on all of them, but I’ll try, I always do!

• Knowledge's and Chekov's relations ship expanded.

• 2 brand-new characters, plus some returning familiar faces from both Chapter 1 and Chapter 2!

• 4 brand-new complex areas!

• The story will be fully finished, with a proper closure — no cliffhangers!

• A full original score composed by my extremely talented friend, Kai “Kaiser” Ronan!

• Dealmaker’s real name revealed …and let’s just say, he’s extremely pissed at you :3

This is a minor update that fixes a few bugs related to the secrets for Artifacts and Manuscripts.

All achievements should be achievable now.

This patch addressed the following:

• Fixed issues with secrets being visible at incorrect times for levels 105C (Eye), 110C (Pox), 113A (Beard), 126C (Aspidochelone).

• Fixed animation issues with level 111C (Tools), 125B (Heart).

• Fixed issues with sliders for levels 112C (Muscles), 125C (Heart).

• Adjusted resolution level for some assets.

• Adjusted slider cursor for clarity 119B (Arm).

• Adjusted the manuscript overlay for 122 (WM Early), 123 (Abdomen).

• Fixed an issue with the secret not triggering for 123C (Abdomen).

• Other various minor bug fixes and optimizations.

When you decide to go on a Raid, remember — there will be no maps, no clues. There will only be darkness, danger, and someone else's will, waiting for your mistake. Every room here aims to confuse you. Every trap will test your focus. Every monster will be waiting for your appearance.
If you survive, you will claim the gold you so desire. If you die, you will leave your soul to everyone. A raid is simply a game with only two bets. Either you will seize someone else's wealth, or you will forfeit your own life.
