MY SWEET! HOUSEMATE: TRANSLATIONS
Hola and hello everyone!

Thanks to our extremely talented translator Silvia Saorín Miralles, My Sweet! Housemate now has an official Spanish translation. We deeply appreciate Silvia Saorín's efforts and hope that you all will too!
Both the full game and the demo now have Spanish as a language option, you can change it from the main screen or in the settings at any point.

🌊FIXES:
  • There was a bug where sometimes achievements wouldn't properly sync between the game and Steam. It has now been fixed.

  • We have changed some fonts to allow the players to enter names with special characters.

  • We have touched up Alisha's sprites.

  • We have also fixed some typos.

We want to say thanks once again to our amazing Spanish translator Silvia Saorín, and to all of you for supporting our silly game!

We are also happy to announce that there will be a Brazilian Portuguese translation of the game soon!

Bumbly’s Rockin’ Adventure – Limited Time Mode

Our new seasonal event is unlike anything you’ve played. Imagine Mad Libs meets Guitar Hero meets multiplayer improv... and you’re close.

The Madtag System:

Before the game starts, players answer a series of wacky category prompts.

During the round, these tags are inserted into the sentence-writing phase. Then, during voting, those tags get randomly swapped with other players' answers for absolute chaos and hilarity.

Keytar Hero Minigame:

For the first time ever, Write Warz becomes a rhythm game. Time your typing to music, collect multipliers, and unleash your Star Power for extra points in a race to the top.

Rewards:

  • Special cosmetics only available during this event

  • Limited-time titles, colors, and badges

UI/UX Overhaul in Progress

New designs for:

Added a new vinyl: Signs

Taytayrex on our discord has released a new EP, Signs, and we have added it to the backrooms record store. Find it in level 11 or 188 at the LunaNightZ record store.

Made some changes to level 188's audio and elevators

Some ambient noises have been stretched to cover more area, and the elevators now have a button click sound.

Moved level 49 and the snackrooms revamp out of preview

The Snackrooms revamp and Level 49 can now be accessed normally via the hub. You can enter level 49 naturally via touching a military poster in level 11.

Train Valley 2 - Vauban

Hello friends! Every Friday 17:30 UTC/GMT - we hold a “Let’s play together” competition. During next 24 hours everyone is welcome to try and score the best time in a preselected level. Join our Discord server and keep Discord running while playing — your results will be automatically published in the #lets-play-together channel. You need to get 5 stars to qualify.

Glittering prizes include:

1) Top 3 winners receive one random card each. Collect 18 locomotive cards and advance to next set of 8 all new cards! Complete that second set and enter a final tier of 12 rare cards! Assemble all cards from all tiers and receive a special prize. Easy!

2) Every player registered by our Discord bot has a chance to get a card. The number of cards depends on the number of participants: one additional card for every 10 train connoisseurs on the list. More players means more prizes!

Hey everyone!
I was originally planning to release a bigger content update, but I decided to prioritize this one due to some important issues affecting players — like not being able to switch monitors or the HUD disappearing. These fixes couldn’t wait. The next update is still on track and will include more new features, with the goal of reaching 100 fish species!

What’s new in this update:

  • 🖥️ Vertical monitor support added

  • ↔️ You can now manually reposition the window to switch between monitors

  • 🐠 3 new fish species added — we’re now at 90 total (target: 100 in the next update)

  • 🎣 New option in settings to disable the fishing hook mechanic

  • 🛠️ Fixed issue where the HUD would disappear for some users

  • 🧼 Fixed all known bugs

The summer update is here! Keep in mind that this is the last update for preview alpha. There may be hotfixes and very minor updates after this, but I'm going to fully focus on the rewrite now. At this moment, it's likely to release in Q1 2026. You will be informed about further developments and the devlogs will continue as scheduled.

UX
  • Improved the notification pin informing about lack of schools - it shows when capacity is about to run out and not only for basic schools, but higher education too.

  • Resource production tooltip in mines shows estimated time to deposit depletion.

  • Services, stores and clinics show a local notification when they're getting overloaded by demand.

  • Palm oil is no longer counted towards food reserves in status bar if its consumption is not allowed by law.

Technical
  • Adjusted contrast and saturation during night scenes to make them look more night-like.

Balance
  • Ores can be stored in silos.

Fixes
  • Crash when the game attempts to autosave if there's an empty folder named autosave in the save directory.

  • Random crash related to model rendering. Hotfix. Exact cause was not found.

  • Colonists could enter buildings through unfinished units, then complain about lack of life support.

  • If a central structure with units was demolished before the units, the units were deleted with it, losing all their resources. The central structure now waits before it's deleted.

  • Tools that switched overlays (like survey or landscaping) didn't switch back to their overlay if another overlay was activated and deactivated during their use.

  • Some saved enabled overlays that were re-enabled when the game was loaded didn't properly activate their own toggles.

  • Exploration could've been queued beyond the edge of the map.
