We would like to announce the details of some of the updates scheduled for November.

Feature expansions/adjustments
- Added the difficulty level "Advanced."
- Added the difficulty level "Custom," which enables individual changes to factors like income.
- Added a feature to select whether or not duels will be triggered during combat.
- Added a settings option when starting the game to randomize the cities in which free officers will appear.
- Added the "Initial Diplomacy Setting" and "Compatibility and Relationships" settings to the saving and loading menus.
- Added the "Request for a Change of Post" Tale, enabling player officers who are governors to become governors of different cities.
- Added a feature to turn notifications on or off in Tales.
- Made adjustments so that vagrant armies the player officer is not part of will disband after a number of years have passed.
- Made adjustments so that allied vagrant armies in cities under the player's force's control will disband and join the player's ranks.
- Added a feature to display the effect range of constructions and traps on the Battle and War Council screens.
- Adjusted the damage caused by flames during battle.
- Adjusted the balance of experience points gained during missions.
- Added keybind settings (an option to assign keys to certain functions)

Last month I asked if you'd prefer getting episode 3A (Decay part 1/2) straightaway, or later when episode 4 (Decay part 2/2) is ready.

Unexpectedly, the overwhelming majority voted to wait.



There were also 2100+ comments. Same pattern, overwhelmingly Poetry with a few arguments for Gotta Have It.

As per majority wishes, episodes 3A and 4 will be shipped together, after episode 4 is ready. When will it be ready? Who knows. Making 3A has taken a year, so... Well it'll be a while.



Thanks for your input. I'm glad I asked.

I was fully prepared to release 3A alone, had the majority expressed they don't mind a cliffhanger. Now I know that would've absolutely been the wrong call.

Enjoy the wait. It's going to be a long one.

Outside Rebalance
  • Newly spawned zombies spawn with increased speed the longer you're outside. This resets with each new wave.
  • Marathon no longer provides unlimited stamina, but instead doubles your total stamina.
  • Z-Ray Vision now only works up to 25 meters away, reduced from 50 meters away.

- Fixed a bug making it impossible to advance the game when a viceroy was employed by another force.
- Fixed a bug making it impossible to advance the game when Gao Shun or Chen Gong was chosen as Lu Bu's successor in the Tale "Lu Bu's Final Moments."
- Fixed a bug making it impossible to advance the game after loading corrupted save data under certain conditions.
- Fixed a bug making it impossible to advance the game when the player canceled a save or load and then quickly pressed the Delete Data button.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the editing of some officers in Historical Officer Editing.
- Fixed a bug where pressing the Relationship Chart button in the Officer Details screen and then immediately canceling and returning to the Officer Details screen would prevent the Relationship Chart from being displayed again when pressing the appropriate button.
- Fixed a bug where moving the cursor on the Map while holding the OK button would cause the cursor to become stuck in place after the button was released.
- Fixed a bug that caused enemy units to be moved to placement locations of the player's own force on the War Council screen.
