  • When something can be selected on the game table, table style changes.

  • A progress dialog is shown when creating or joining a game.

-Cave card upgrade spirit density cost increased to 3 when removing 2 cards
-Town Training Grounds - Practice (Card Upgrade) change to Trial Platform - Break Attachments (Card Removal)
-Elite encounters EXP reward increased by about 20%
-Cards with draw effects no longer draw themselves
-Crimson Concentration current HP cost increased from 3% to 5%
-Mountain Stance spirit requirement increased to 5,4,3 (originaly costs 4,3,2)
-Flawless Bastion spirit requirement increased to 3,3,2 (originaly costs 2,2,1)
-Question mark events effect color changed to red

The second of two major balance patches, that were agreed by the community as necessary to ensure server 2 does not experience any of the balance issues the first one did.

Balance patches

  • The mayor "efficiency" stat no longer grants a resource discount to construction, research or troop training; instead, it grants a resource production buff to the city the mayor is hired in.

    • This is seen as a way to encourage resource production and balancing across all cities, as previously a player could ferry a high-level mayor between all cities to receive troops at a massive discount, and then sell off excess resources in the market which hindered smaller players who must rely on the market to make gold

    • The "discount" system placed a soft cap on how large a mayor could get, since it was possible to reach a point where no further discount could be applied and it was useless to increase your mayor's attributes. This has now been fixed as the resource production buff is theoretically infinite!

General gameplay changes

  • You can now loot items and relics from defensive battles as well as offensive

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the equipped resource relic would duplicate into the mayor relic slot on server restart, where it would then bug and could not be removed

This patch now, hopefully, marks a period where all major fundamental changes to the game will stop, and a period of gentle tweaks and quality of life improvements will be made instead. Server two is now very much in the works so watch this space!

Previously, you may have seen some missing items in the introduction (some red signs), there were not some sounds and the balance might be not quiet right.

All that issues were due to an outdated build.
My bad.

Now the issues are fixed.

Hi there,

after getting so much great feedback from watching streams of the game, I've prepared another update. :) Here's what changed:

Warning: Might contain mild spoilers

  • You can now open the highscore from the arcade cabinet by pressing F1

  • When you browser through dialog options while no dialog is active the options now don't show a rectangle around them, making it more clear that they are not interactable

  • Added a hint that when you try to put the empty beer bottle in the pot that you should put it in the steam instead

  • Made the door frame at home a brighter color so it's harder to miss

  • Fixed an issue with some characters rotating around randomly over time

  • Fixed and issue where you would get a hint to get more reed when it was not possible yet

  • Added a hot spot to the tape recorder

  • Fixed an issue where taking of sunglasses didn't work

  • Some various smaller fixes and polishing
