We’re incredibly proud to share something close to our hearts: the Save A Fox Pack is now available as DLC for Spirit of the North 2.

This pack is a tribute to Mikayla Raines, the amazing founder of Save A Fox Rescue, who dedicated her life to rescuing and caring for captive-born foxes. If you’ve ever come across one of their videos online - a fox laughing, cuddling, or being cheeky - chances are, Mikayla made that moment possible.

To honour her memory, we’ve worked closely with Save A Fox to create a special fox skins inspired by the beloved foxes: Finnegan, Fawzi & Ruby. We hope it brings a little extra magic and joy to your journey through the wild.

All proceeds from this DLC go directly to Save A Fox Rescue, continuing Mikayla’s work and helping care for the foxes she loved so dearly.

• Spell Casting – Both spells now cast 66.7% slower.
  
• Wand Attack – Damage reduced by 13.33%.
  
• Health reduced from 700 → 650.

Hel

• Dagger Attack – Damage reduced by 16%.
  
• Darkness Explosion – Forward teleport wind-up increased by 10 frames; explosion size reduced by 35%.
  
• Hel Dash – Cooldown increased from 1.2s → 2s.
  
• Health reduced from 1000 → 900.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where the game could freeze if saving took too long during a level transition.
  
• Fixed a bug where the Choke status effect prevented the player from turning for an extended period.
  
• Cursor size now scales up on resolutions above 4700px width.

Act 3 Witch Combat: Resolved a critical bug that was causing the witch encounter to soft lock during combat
Combat System: Fixed a major logic issue that could cause combat to freeze, preventing progression
Boon Unlocks: Corrected functionality issues with boon unlock mechanics
Ascension Mode: Fixed ascension system functionality and added informational tooltips
Hover over the moon icon in the top left corner to view ascension and custom mode details
Debugging System: Enhanced feedback system now collects more detailed diagnostic information to help identify and resolve future issues faster
