I've been taking it easy over the summer so this is just a small update with a couple nice improvements.

-buildings under construction now periodically display a notification when lacking resources.
-brightened background asteroids to make them more noticeable.
-fixed bug preventing mech shipyard rally points from being assigned to an existing construction project.

multiplayer (still very unfinished and broken!)

-removed an unused argument from scr_client_build_building.
-closer to having menu buttons and mechbot construction working for clients.
-client mechbots are now properly assigned to assist with building construction.

Thanks to the community for great catches on bugs and feedback on 0.1.3 already!

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue with new fleet animations causing soft-locks in galaxy map after restarting a campaign or destroying an enemy fleet.

  • Radiation cloud damage now starts higher and scales down over time, instead of starting too low..

  • Coolant volume bar is now correct.

  • Radiation damage no longer causes fuel or coolant leaks.

  • Fixed stars not covering the full screen from some angles.

Balance
  • Tubba now comes standard with the Scrappy ability which gives 100% damage against larger ships.

  • Buffed the Scrappy ability.

Polish
  • Unique lighting for each system.

We've fixed the following bugs:

  • Fixed a bug that prevented the extra story from starting after completing the bestiary. (Fixed in v1.04)

    • This extra story has also been published on the official website's strategy guide.

  • Fixed a bug where debug options would appear when discovering an animal. (Occurred with the release of v1.04)

  • Corrected typos.

Weapons that drop now will have randomly upgradable attributes, and this update will cause the attributes of weapons from old saves to disappear.I have tried my best to fix it, and I am very sorry!

- Game end screen and settlement information added.

- When your health runs out, two characters will point their fingers and comment at you. Try not to get too annoyed.

- New shop refresh feature (Cham's shop only).

- Added new equipment: Elemental Echo Emitter, Arena Commemorative Coin, Singular Watch, Soul Talisman, Exploding Dust, etc.

Changes

- Introduced Dynamic Damage Reduction:

  - All bosses will gain some damage reduction if they take high damage in a short period of time.

  - True damage is unaffected by dynamic damage reduction.

- Some special rooms will no longer appear on the first floor.

  - Unbinder for example.

- "Defense" has been renamed to “Guard” across the game.

- Camera now moves smoothly between rooms.

- Camera now instantly switches to the post-teleport viewpoint.

- Summons (e.g., Rhombear, Crushing Claws) will now follow the player when teleporting.

- The timer for Tranquil Lake is now easier to read.

- Added a warning when loading a save from an incompatible version.

- Heart of Earth moved from a passive skill to equipment:

  - Passive skills no longer have status information; Heart of Earth will now retain its HP bonus even if unequipped and re-equipped.

- Adjusted some equipment effects.

  - Aethium Dialyzer now grants a shield instead of healing.

  - Reduced the healing effect of Not-That-Urgent Bandage.

- Light element texts are now more legible.

- On higher difficulties, the base drop rate for Healing Shards is no longer zero, and the drop rate from Blessings is reduced.

- Greatly increased Avgium drop rate on higher difficulties.

- Any mob now has a small chance to drop an elemental orb matching their elements.

- Added room clear rewards — now magic books and equipment can be dropped.

- Removed (Experimental - Melee Combo Bonus: each time a spell is cast, it grants the same damage multiplier and is then cleared.)

- Developer Mode: Can be enabled in settings to access console and other functions.

Fixes

- Fixed stacking and closing order issues for some UI windows.

  - Blessing status window now closes before exiting the inventory.

- Fixed missing death effects for some entities.

- Fixed leftover lava in Amir's room.

- Attempted fix for crashes caused by Laveel.

- Fixed an issue where swapping two books in the inventory could cause one book’s passive skill to disappear.

Marble Simulation - Blargl Productions.

Hello Marble Players, we have reached that slow point of updates for the game, as I feel that

there is not much else needed for the time being. I will be working on new projects full-time. That said, I do have some last bits of fixes and optimizations.

These go as follows:

Regarding Marble Movement:

Originally, the movement of the marble was based on the direction from which you faced the camera. I didn't think much of it, but in hindsight it was a dumb Idea. Thanks to a person on the discussion page speaking on it, it is now overhauled. The marble movement is no longer based on the direction of the camera.

Shutdown:

The Shutdown boss will now only be accessed through the Trickster. The trickster can send you to the boss directly, or you can access the boss through the jackpot stage. You will still need to collect the orb in stage 5 to have access to this boss.

Other fixes:

Fixed an issue with a repeated loop of the Core boss encounter.

Fixed an issue with the player's HUD affecting the game's performance.

Optimised a function that tracks the stats of the Player between levels.
