There were some minor changes to the question data:
- Found and replaced 3 near duplicate questions with new questions
- Added two more verbose questions.
- Enhanced anti-repetition filtering processed.

Features remain the same. I hope people find this game and enjoy playing it. Also made an adjustment to Discovery Mode's question button/panel layout. Minor tweaks to follow.

    • Increase overseer dash distance (0.74 m -> 0.88 m)
      • This proportionally increases dash velocity so that more damage is dealt on collision
    • Increase overseer dash stamina cooldown (3.0 s -> 3.2 s)
    • Decrease stone form cooldown (12 s -> 11 s)

Visuals

  • Prevent drones and player names from covering overseers when they overlap

Hi everyone :)

The ASV Soccer Playtest has ended, so I'd wanted to share a few key facts:

  • We have had a whopping 121 players over the period of slightly more than one month

  • Most of those played a couple of matches

  • We have had a handful of fans with 2+ hours

  • 9 players provided feedback

Huge thanks to everyone involved. I will now be preparing ASV Soccer for final release later this year.

This will mostly include:

  • Tuning to goalkeepers

  • UI Cleanup

  • Tutorial.

- Fixed an issue where the item location indicator icon would disappear when using Photo Mode.

- Fixed an issue where Freya's "Sniff" ability would not respond correctly.

- Fixed an issue where Freya would fall through the map if the locker caught cutscene was triggered before the locker door was fully closed.

- Fixed an issue where items could be used from inside a locker.

- Fixed an issue where the location of the PC that needs to be booted up was duplicated in the Energy Drink ending route.

- Fixed an issue where the puzzle would not proceed if an item was placed on the toilet and then removed.

- Corrected the display to show the number of items placed on the toilet to meet the objective.

- Fixed an issue where a different motion would appear on the title screen when the main entrance ending had not been cleared.

▽Improvements

- Added the ability to view current option information by pressing Tab in Ranking Mode.

- Improved the visibility of the leaderboard in Ranking Mode.

- Applied a 3D effect to Freya's skill failure sound.

- Adjusted the interaction time for the "Clumsy Skills" option from 5 seconds to 2.5 seconds.

- Improved Freya's chase logic to resolve persistent errors (performance enhancement).

Hired Stars - Mark Kaps

Hired Stars is currently in development. A lot has been achieved, tested extensively, and further improved. I would like to share my motivation, some special moments, and the milestone I am currently working on.

Motivation

I am a single developer. One who has seen many games and simply misses some things terribly. There's the depth! I want to be able to lose myself in a game. I want to experience it. That's what gives me joy. For a developer, that can be fatal. You can quickly get lost in details that no one cares about and that don't bring any joy! In recent years (the first version dates from November 24, 2018), I have gone through many changes, which brings us to the next point.

Current Status

I showed the game to some very good friends and got a lot of feedback. As a result, some features will be expanded, some changed, and the game will require a LOT of explanations! In addition, some features will have to be removed without replacement (ship maintenance, sensor malfunctions, lost ships, etc.). It has become very complex. Too complex. All these adjustments will keep me busy for several months. But it's fun to tinker with and improve!

Actual Work

My advantage is that I can do whatever I feel like doing. And I feel like doing something complex. Fleets are sent out by factions. They spawn in a procedurally generated universe. They travel, complete tasks, and can be attacked by the player. Ships, weapons, cargo, and data cores can be captured. But one small thing was missing: elite ships!

A configurable chance that a ship will be replaced by an elite ship. With better weapons! You can capture everything, the ship, the weapons, and hunt for bigger prey.

Did I mention that all ships are scripts (.json) and can be changed at any time? Even by players with no prior knowledge? Balance is important. Data sets that are hard-coded are a nuisance for this type of game!

Scarlet Backrooms Playtest - MXRSHY

Hello everyone!

To those who are playing or have played the playtest, I sincerely thank you for putting time into playing the game and any feedback is heavily appreciated.

it has come to my attention on an older game that the files were not available so therefore scarlet backrooms is officially a free backrooms game.

it is to give my apologies to those who have bought secret backrooms and since then were unable to play the game.

Multiplayer is not gonna be added in the full release until i fix some stuff first regarding this game.

Initially this game was supposed to be a paid project but now with the unfortunate events of people asking for a free backrooms game or the old game to be brought back i have decided to make it a free game!

The game will launch later this year!

Other stuff to note is that the "enemy" models are NOT the final design nor is it gonna be in the full release.

OTHER NOTES ARE TAKEN SUCH AS:
- BACKUP FILES (aka having a backup project file in case something fucks up)
- Save load features
- Extra modes

  • Added an assist feature that highlights a hint if it corresponds to the length of consecutive cells at the selected position.

  • The “to Title” button now explicitly indicates that it returns to the title screen.
  • Updated some in-game text.
Terrible Lizards Playtest - Dedlus

Tons of bugs squashed, anims implemented and refined, sfx made more awesome, and the ending even more realized than before.

Also, a plethora of small tweaks, fixes, and optimizations.
