I would like to introduce one of our characters, Namifuji Yukino.

Character Introduction

Name: Namifuji Yukino

"Well, I don't know if there was any mention of it in the abstinence scriptures that would apply."

A girl of the next class. She is often together with Kogarashi Sora.

She is gentle, but sometimes scary.

A word of character note: “The flowers of hair ornaments are chamomile”

  • The "Disk Can't Be Read Error" Now Allows Exiting The Game By Clicking The Close Window Button.

  • Rebooting Fully Resets The Internal Game State, After Triggering A Manual Auto-Save.

  • Re-Added Extracting Static Files To First Time Setup, Regardless Of If An Update Just Happened.

  • Added "Static" Command To Manually Extract Static Files From The Asset Pack, Onto The Virtual Disk Image. (Like These Changelogs!)

Black Vultures: Prey of Greed - CM | TOQUI

Hello, Vultures!

Today, we’re introducing one of the most unpredictable operators in Black Vultures: TOQUI.

Known for his blistering speed and ruthless efficiency, TOQUI is a combat specialist who believes that mobility is the key to survival. He strips away anything that slows him down, even if it means leaving himself dangerously exposed. In the right hands, TOQUI becomes a blur of violence, striking before the enemy has time to react.

Let’s take a closer look at what makes him so lethal.

  • Real Name: Clayton Lee Brooks (Nickname: Clay)

  • Age: Late 30s

  • Origin: Southern U.S. (Union of States)

Combat Role and Playstyle

TOQUI prioritizes speed above all else. He forgoes heavy armor and most defensive gear in favor of maximum agility, allowing him to move faster than any other operator. This gives him a major advantage in flanking, repositioning, and striking vulnerable targets before they can respond.

His combat style focuses on using tactical mobility to seize key positions and maximize his offensive potential. But the tradeoff is clear. TOQUI’s low durability means that even a single bullet can spell disaster. He demands precision, awareness, and the ability to escape just as quickly as you attack.

If you enjoy hit-and-run tactics, exploiting weak points, and outmaneuvering your enemies with raw speed, TOQUI is your ideal pick.

Backstory

TOQUI was once a legendary member of the U.S. military’s elite special forces. His career ended in disgrace after he was implicated in a war crimes investigation related to the abuse of prisoners. Though his role was minimal and largely the result of pressure from commanding officers, he was unable to avoid responsibility.

He was dishonorably discharged, stripped of all service recognition and benefits.

After leaving the military, TOQUI struggled to reintegrate into civilian life. Rejected by society and consumed by shame, he began to spiral. Alcohol took hold, followed by violence. One night, during a drunken argument, he killed his wife and fled to Central America.

There, he became a cartel hitman and slipped further into addiction, eventually finding himself on the run once again. He smuggled himself into Europe and eventually arrived in Antiviyane, where the war had opened new opportunities for mercenaries. It was there that he joined the Vultures, a newly independent force that welcomed anyone with the skills to survive, no questions asked.

For the first time in years, TOQUI felt like he had found a place he could belong. But years of substance abuse and trauma had left deep scars. He suffered from severe mental instability and frequent psychological regressions. His moral compass had fractured, and he often clung to his squadmates like a frightened child, unsure of what was real.

Yet when the battle begins, everything changes. TOQUI becomes something else entirely. His instincts take over and the fragmented man disappears, replaced by a near-perfect engine of war. His movements are sharp. His decisions are clean. His efficiency is terrifying.

In that moment, TOQUI is not broken... he is unstoppable.

Nin Online - Ueda

This is really just a minor update pushing things I've been meaning to add on my off day. I've also addressed a lot of small bugs during the tutorials and early game missions that have been overlooked. This is thanks to players testing the game and posting YouTube videos of it!

Features
  • New Damage Numbers

  • Added second keybinds for Attack
    By default, this is Set to 'E' key, which is better for WASD players

  • Hovering targets with mouse now shows a Kunai instead of normal cursorSmall improvement to mouse gameplay

Changes
  • Journal Shortcut Default changed to 'L' key

  • Moved certain animations like "Critical" and "Miss" animations above Lighting Layer
    This makes them a lot more like UI elements as they should be instead of physical in world things

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed first item in inventory not appearing in Mail Item selection

  • Fixed a bug where getting kicked or disconnected made the Login buttons not reappear

Reworked Catalog

We’ve given the catalog a much-needed overhaul. The new grid layout makes browsing easier and more intuitive.

We’ve also added a new mechanic: successfully completing a run with certain equips will now register them into the catalog. Don’t worry — you can still view and examine unregistered equips, too.

  • Challenges are no longer reliant on a 3rd party time server. As a bonus, this means they can now be played while offline.

  • The badge menu now has a search bar.

  • Badge page limit increased from 5 → 20.

Knights Within - IndecisionLabs

Here's a brief update for the things I'm working on and what is planned to be added in the foreseeable future of Knights Within. As always, everything is subject to change and I'm always listening to suggestions for what to change in the game.

  • Crusade game mode (Act 1 and 2)

    • Patrol and Gauntlet have always been intended as small side modes in Knights Within. Crusade is what I’m (for now) calling the primary game mode. This is meant to be the full story/bosses complete in one life type scenario. I am doing things a little different than most rogue-lites (that I’ve played at least) and am excited to have it move into the next steps of testing and build. 

    • This update is a large chunk and most of it will be released in a relatively early stage, the bosses are missing dialogue, meshes, lots of things. But the start of the game play will be there. Please be patient as I slowly improve it after the update initially drops

  • Medallion currency rework 

    • Currencies have developed over the course of early access, and medallions have effectively lost their purpose since the initial concept. I have a plan to rework their use and accrual, please spend or be prepared to lose your current medallions if you have been hoarding them. I'm not 100% finished the new concept, but the new system will likely not make use of your current stash

    • So far I’m not sure if this will release with the crusade update or soon after

After

  • Crusade specific vendor

    • Ideally I would add this with the crusade update itself, but I don’t think realistically I’ll make it. This is already in work and will significantly add to the build crafting throughout a crusade run

  • Game story intro cutscene/slideshow type deal

    • Visuals and script is all done, just working on final touches

  • New Gear

    • Guns/Melee/Abilities

    • There are so many more gear updates, (both new and improvements to existing) planned 

  • Side objectives on the maps

    • The open world map style has always meant to be more fully realized with optional things to find/complete/discover on the maps. I will be working more on this aspect

  • More Achievements

    • I’ve been adding to my list of new achievements that need to be added, I just would rather add a bunch in one batch instead of trickling them out so that achievement hunters don’t feel like they need to constantly return for just 1 at a time
