Comanche Is Ready For Take Off: Helicopter Action Game Flies Out of Early Access Today

Brno, Czech Republic / Vienna, Austria, August 26th, 2021: Pilots, Comanche gets a full release! Some time has passed since the last Early Access Update, as we were preparing a lot of new content. Seven brand new Conflicts missions await to be conquered and mastered. For the first time, you can pilot different Comanche variants in some of them. Also, beware of two new enemies: Deadly sniper railguns will take you down instantly without any hesitation. ICBM carriers need to be disabled before they launch dangerous payloads causing fatal damage.

Many missions got a new graphical treatment, be it old or new ones. Visual effects were polished to look even better, and lighting setups in missions were adjusted for a better atmosphere. We focused also on the experience outside of the game. The great news is that Comanche is now playable in English, French, German, Spanish, Polish, Czech, Russian, and Chinese. The community can now beat all achievements or collect every trading card.

Comanche is in its full strength now. We are very thankful for your feedback during the Early Access period, it is highly appreciated and allowed us to make the game better with every update. There is only one thing that remains to be said:

At ease, pilots! Comanche's Early Access Update #8: Operation Aydati is here!

Lead the flight back to the Philippines to reclaim harbor taken by enemy forces in the new Conflicts mission Aydati. Pay attention to the new minimap with the enhanced icon, which allows you to better distinguish enemies. If you don’t, you might notice a new critical state warning in your cockpit that indicates you are in deep trouble.

Base of Operations got overhauled, and the interface now provides a better way to navigate through the main menu. As part of that, even the campaign menu is reworked to show parts of each operation more clearly.

New Singleplayer Game Mode for Comanche: Conflicts

Brno, Czech Republic / Vienna, Austria, April 15th, 2021: The latest Early Access update for Comanche features a brand new single-player mode called “Conflicts” which offers challenging missions to master. Conflicts Mode is a set of various single-player missions, separate from the story campaign. In each mission, you will have to fulfill specific requirements in order to get all of the medals for that particular challenge. Only after earning all of the medals, will you be able to unlock the next mission.

Pilots, Early Access Update #6: Prodigal Reaper is here!

Update your client, step into the cockpit and fight your way through the Singleplayer Campaign's grand finale with the last Operation – Prodigal Reaper. For the first time in the Campaign, get to the Eve Comanche, prepare the EMP, and support skills to prevent a nuclear warhead launch. In addition to this, test your skills with other players thanks to improved matchmaking and grouping.

Get to the free Choppa! Comanche Adds Free2play Multiplayer and New Content

Hannover, Germany / Vienna, Austria, November 19, 2020: Comanche goes Free2play - at least with the multiplayer part of the game. Everyone can simply download this new additional version of the game, familiarize him- or herself with the game in the brand new tutorial, and start competing online against other pilots from all over the world. The Comanche multiplayer experience will be completely free and will offer the full multiplayer content. Players can choose between two different game modes, five different versions of the Comanche attack helicopter, four interesting combat drones, and fight on three large-scale maps. Everyone who bought Comanche in the past will be rewarded with a special skin to show off their status as a Comanche veteran pilot.

Additionally, Comanche will get a new Early Access Update including a full new mission: Operation Fire Sale.

Operation Fire Sale will command the pilots to the majestic Alps on board the Horizon variant of the Comanche, equipped with long-range weaponry. The mission is to scout and observe a vital Kude Core military site and make good use of the ranged weapons in dealing devastating blows to the enemy.

Hannover, Germany / Vienna, Austria, August, 06th 2020: “We are doing the Early Access to learn, what the players want” explains Fabian Baumgarten, Producer at development studio NUKKLEAR, “and it became quite clear, that we wanted to totally overhaul our controls, add more single-player content and quality of life features.”

Therefore, Update 3 will add the new single-player mission “Bank Job” to the campaign, where the player leads an assault of ground forces with his Comanche attack helicopter. Together with a whole IJTF Strike Force, the Comanche will witness a full offensive against the Kude Core's last stronghold in the middle of the desert.

Next to loads of new content like the continuation of the single-player campaign, developer NUKKLEAR took the time to take a deep look into the helicopter controls. Players can now choose between “Arcade” and “Simulation” controls, which play drastically different from another and will satisfy casual and experienced players alike.

Speaking of controls: For this update, NUKKLEAR and Thrustmaster teamed up to support the most important Thrustmaster HOTAS devices natively.
Additionally, the frequently requested 3rd-person mode has been added to the game.

Hannover, Germany / Vienna, Austria, May 20th, 2020 - Comanche's second Early Access update is now live and brings some new content, including a full new single-player mission, plus addressing popular requests from the community.

In the singleplayer mission, the player is tasked with a covert operation to dismantle the plans of Kude Core, the antagonist faction, deep within enemy territory. To achieve this he will be operating the Ghost Comanche to avoid detection and needs to pick his fights well to succeed.

Comanche's first Early Access update is now live and already incorporates valuable feedback from the community.

- Extended Graphic Options
- Rework of some of the Controls (especially Gamepad)
- Progression in SinglePlayer

In addition to abovementioned community-centered implementations, the update also contains numerous balancing changes (single- and multiplayer sided), as well as general bugfixes.

Singleplayer
As requested by the community, Comanche will get a singleplayer campaign. Starting with one mission available from March 12th on, developer Nukklear will add new missions on a regular basis.

Multiplayer
The 4vs4 team-based multiplayer will start with two modes, one called Black Box, the other Infiltration. In Black Box, the goal is to collect more black boxes from destroyed Comanches with your drone. You can collect both enemy and friendly black boxes using the drone, so this mode guarantees intense team fights at close range. Infiltration again combines helicopter combat and drone piloting: your objective is to either defend or infiltrate a base. Attackers must place an EMP, defenders must disarm it.

Flight & Combat Training
In a variety of different missions, you can learn how to fly your Comanche and its drone to familiarise yourself with the flight controls and how to maneuver in combat. As Comanche requires some practice before you become a good pilot, we highly recommend players check out the training missions.

Available Helicopters & Drones
Five Comanches and four drones will be available at the Early Access launch, all coming with specific weapons, abilities and strengths and weaknesses. Each type of Comanche has a certain role to fulfill in the team-based combat and is suitable for a special type of player, so choose your favorite.
