【Content Additions & Specification Changes】
  • The increase/decrease buttons for Worker Zundamon now support long-press operation.
  • Building tooltips now display building size.

【Bug Fixes】
  • Fixed a bug where attack speed was not increasing as intended by the technology effects.
  • Fixed a bug where Firefighter Zundamon was not working even when fires occurred (due to an issue introduced by the fire retry handling).
  • Fixed a bug where, after changing a building’s recipe, items from before the change would drop to the ground and become uncollectible (caused by the removal of "Other" worker type).

Momentum Mod Playtest - Gocnak

Hey all, exciting times are ahead!

We're nearing 0.10.0's completion and need your help. We're going to be doing a couple things:

  1. The default branch is now on the 0.10.0-pre codebase in order to get some stress testing done for our public 0.10.0 release coming by the end of the month.

  2. We've removed the 0.10.0-pre branch to remove redundancy.

  3. You can access the old 0.9.X code via the "0.9.X" beta branch found in Game Properties -> Betas. This is a temporary branch until we are well into the 0.10.X release cycle. You can use this to see locally saved replays, but online (leaderboards) connectivity will no longer work for it, as the backend used for 0.9.X is being decommissioned in favor of our 0.10.X production deploy.

  4. Our old 0.9.X dashboard will be taken down, but we have our new frontpage at https://momentum-mod.org and our new dashboard (temporarily) at https://staging.momentum-mod.org, so check them out!

  5. (Kinda technical) If you had a custom shortcut for launching Momentum, you can now remove the "-noencryptedtickets" launch parameter, we're using them now :)

Swanfield Survival Playtest - RJH-Studios
Playtest Dedicated Server Support

The Playtest version and main game run under separate Steam APP ID's

Because of this, Dedicated servers didn't display in Steam/Game Servers and also in-game Server browser

This patch addresses this oversight, for now there will be a Playtest (EU) Dedicated server up and running.

Everyone involved in the Playtest still has the option to create and Host a Lobby Session with 5 x Steam Friends, or connect directly to the Dedicated Server in-game or via Steam/Game Servers

The drawing feature has added linear gradient and radial color gradient functions, and optimized the color of the graphic templates.

New Features
Escalation Game Mode

This is an evolution of the Skirmish mode, where you compete on randomized levels to be the first to accumulate enough points, and between rounds you get to upgrade your towers and add new passives.

Note, to unlock this mode you need to win a single skirmish match!

Resistance/Vulnerability System

Attacks now have damage types, and different units/towers are vulnerable/resistant to these attacks.

Unit Info Screen

There is now a screen that gives the detailed info on units and structures stats, including their new resistances/vulnerabilities. Check it out!

New Missions

The final two missions of the Chromatech campaign have been released, with a level playing with a Wave Attack mode intended for the global domination game mode, and a climatic showdown with the U.C.F..

Pay attention for some hints of the next faction!

New Tower Upgrades/Passives

We added a few more upgrades and passives now that Escalation mode is out and you can use them there.

New Map

Bastion: A new dual Wave Defence / Skirmish map designed by a member of the community.

Updates/Bug Fixes

Sniper Tower Rework

The sniper tower wasn’t as fun as we wanted, so we redid the way it works, it now fires all the time normally, and if you hover over a target in range and los it will focus it, instead of focusing the player’s cursor at all times.

  • Nerfed Field Promotion for being way too OP

  • Fixed some scoreboard bugs and made it so you can see the global high score without having to have a score of your own first.

  • Tuning powers/structures for better balance

  • Continued to improve performance

  • Improved/optimized pathfinding for better performance and less units getting stuck

  • Fixed a variety of localization issues
