Rock-N-Rogue: A Boo Bunny Plague Adventure - MotoDestructo
Thank you all for the support, the feedback, and for just hanging in there with us. A shout out (and thank you) to @CobaltStreak for allowing us to sponsor his segment last Thursday night, but more importantly for calling attention to some issues in the game. Our team worked all weekend though to get those issues and then some…fixed…here’s everything we have updated since last Friday (1/19):

• Duplicating bosses
• Cutscenes playing audio with no video
• Dying in Rogue mode with inventory items and then starting Rock mode and still having those inventory items
• Experience and inventory loss upon leveling up
• Distorted audio in Ending cutscene
• Spike traps now do damage more consistently(BEWARE!)
• The fuses on the bombs have become shorter(Also BEWARE!)
• Experience bar is now more accurately displaying how many picks collected
• Some sounds have been adjusted(ongoing process, bare with us!)
• A manual has now been added as a link on the store page to give more info until we work on some of the player feedback suggestions.

What fun would we have if everything we planned went perfect… you’re keeping us on our toes but also helping us find ways to do things better, so thank you. We really appreciate your feedback - the good, the bad and the ugly - just know - we’re listening and we’ll do all we can to address every issue. Keep ‘em coming…thanks!

Known issues:
• When using the gamepad the player can walk off of ledges. A kill-floor has been added as a temporary quick-fix.
• Faye’s pet(s) currently seem to like to taunt the final boss but have little interest in attacking him
• “Egg timers” and descriptions for power-ups not yet implemented
• Music transitions are not smooth
• Overall audio needs balancing
• In the Squ1rr3l fight if the player is on-stage the glowstick projectiles will only be under the stage and not visible and slow the player down still.
• Start button on game pad sometimes seems to not work to bring up the menu until ESC is pressed first… this is random and being looked into
• Enemy animations stall upon death occasionally

We are tirelessly working on these fixes and other improvements, once again thank you for the continued support.

We have now released a patch with a temporary fix to the walking off ledges problem you have been experiencing when playing with gamepad.

This patch adds a kill-zone in the pits that will make sure you no longer get stuck if you walk off a ledge. We will be adding in a more permanent fix actually blocking the ability for you to walk off but it will require testing and we wanted to get you a fix immediately. So be forewarned, you walk off of a ledge and your player will perish! We are very sorry for missing this issue and thank you for continued support!

Sequel to Boo Bunny Plague Delivers Strangest Gathering of Hellions to Compete in the Fieriest Battle of the Bands…Ever!

P.S. Bunny is Back!

HOUSTON, TX – January 19, 2017 – A dungeon crawling, Heavy Metal musical melee from indie developer On The Level Game Studios, shreds its way onto Steam today. Players take part in the “hottest” battle of the bands competition in the Underworld, where the Devil (concert promoter) makes them do it…literally. Jam with Rock-N-Rogue: A Boo Bunny Plague Adventure in a ridiculously intense, 3rd-person top-down adventure with outrageous humor, absurd characters and packed with mayhem, monsters, music and magic…a head-banging gamers dream come true. Rock-N-Rogue: A Boo Bunny Plague Adventure is now available for Windows PC via Steam, for $8.99 USD.

In Rock-N-Rogue: A Boo Bunny Plague Adventure, players can choose from four twisted but musically gifted characters – our eponymous hero Bunny (lead), his robotic pal Gunny (drums), the powerful pachyderm Ganny (bass) as well as favorite-of-the-underworld and the spawn of Satan herself, Faye (backup vocals). Each character features their own powerful musical instrument which delivers a unique fighting style -- critical as the heroic garage band enters the depths of darkness and battles their way through the nine layers of Hades and beyond. Rock-N-Rogue: A Boo Bunny Plague Adventure also features: “Go Rogue” mode for new and tougher challenge with no saves or continues, dozens of godly weapons with special elemental powers, instrument upgrades to amplify the jam, Boomboxes with mysterious abilities, and of course bat-$%!@ crazy Bosses.

“Our last game Boo Bunny Plague was a hack and slash music adventure, done our way and after we finished that up we thought wow where do we go next?” stated Jeff Reimert, Chief Executive Officer, On The Level Game Studio. “Music is what makes us who we are and our style and approach is unique in a way that is all our own. Once we landed on a dungeon crawler for the sequel, we knew we had to level it up on the audio front and we got lucky – we found mc chris, a popular rapper focused on nerd life and we knew he was a perfect match.”

This small indie team out of Houston, Texas is one with true heart. The adage “Good friends who play together stay together” exemplifies the camaraderie here between the three top members of the team. With a common love for music, and jamming together whenever they can, they’ve been resolute in taking their passions and creating a unique twist on a classic game genre. Following their first two titles, the team recruited mc chris, popular rapper focused on nerd life and writer, performer, actor and animator – his works include The Brak Show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and the award-winning Space Ghost. In addition, industry veteran John Melchior (The Allegiant, Ghostbusters, The Videogame, Scarface The World is Yours, The Simpsons: Hit & Run and Aliens Versus Predator 2), worked alongside other senior level talent whose portfolio includes God of War III, Pokemon Go, Ghostbusters: The Videogame, Silent Hill: Homecoming, Ratchet & Clank, Spyro: Year of the Dragon, Jak & Daxter, Uncharted 2 and Crash Bandicoot 2, among others.

Rock-N-Rogue: A Boo Bunny Plague Adventure is brought to you by On The Level Game Studios, creators of Boo Bunny Plague and survival horror golf game Curse of the Nordic Cove.
