We are happy to announce a few updates!

Since Rhythm Zone’s initial release, we’ve not only added challenges and new DLC, we’ve also improved the UI and added some new achievements. Today we are introducing our 4th and 5th DLC Visualizer packs, including:

Hey Everyone,

We just released a patch that resolves the add-song issue some of you reported. Though this resolves the issues we saw from those of you who submitted support tickets, there is a case that may effect some people.

You may still have an issue adding songs if the path to the song or the song filename itself has unicode characters AND your system is set up to not create short filenames. The simplest solution in this case would be to rename the file and put it in a non-unicode path. If you're comfortable changing registry settings, you can turn on short filename creation in the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem\NtfsDisable8dot3NameCreation . The short name is created with the file, so you may have to copy the file to a new folder for this to take effect.

We're looking into addressing this case in a future patch. None of you who submitted support tickets look like you were hitting this issue, so this patch should resolve your troubles. If anyone has any further trouble with this, please open a support ticket with us so we can look into it.

Also resolved in this patch is an issue one of you reported where the song list always appears empty.

-when adding a song, analyzing now better utilizes system resources
-when adding a song, temp files are now being erased properly
-featured song zip bundles are now being erased properly after being downloaded to the user's library
-on startup, game will delete any temp files in the user's Rhythm Zone data directory that were not cleaned up properly in the past
