The Hindenburg Disaster in May 1937 marked the beginning of the end of airship travel and led to the demise of the Luftschiffbau Zeppelin company, but gave rise to one of the most highly debated discussions of what caused the Hindenburg to catch flame.

Its relatively high cruise speed of 200 kts and max range of 1500 miles make it the perfect cargo aircraft for Alaska. As this C-46 is a basic model, no cockpit is included.
