  • Added breakable bones and snappable necks. Breaking the neck or spine results in an instant kill
  • Outlines are back! Enemies and the player now have outlines as a return to the demo and trailer visuals. If you prefer to play without these or if it incurs a performance hit, you can disable them in the Performance settings. (won't take effect until reloading a level)

THE FINALS - Lootfisk

Season 7 is off to a great start, but with just a few bumps along the way! Here we have a Hotfix (no update needed) to help smooth things out a bit.

We intended to have NOZOMI/CITADEL cranked up to 11 in terms of map picks, but thanks to the community we found that that was not the case. This should be fixed, and you should now be fighting across the Rift much more frequently.

We have temporarily disabled the new weapon system that went live for all automatic weapons yesterday after finding a couple issues with it. As hard as we try to test things, nothing beats thousands of players across hundreds of devices going hands on - thank you all so much for calling out the issues you found so we can act on them swiftly!

We have loaded in your Seasonal rewards, including the ENGIMO prize given to everyone based on the results of the S6 Sponsor Showdown. We also delivered a small gift to honor the players of Season 1 who bought the very first Battle Pass, thank you for being here since the very beginning!  


Content and Bug Fixes 

Battle Pass

  • For the first few hours after launching the season, those who bought the Premium Battle Pass followed by the Ultimate Battle Pass, did not get their proper refund of 1150 Multibucks. The issue has been resolved, and your missing Multibucks have now been refunded

Customization 

  • Returned the missing items from the store. We had about ten bundles that were mysteriously yeeted from the store but now they are back! 

  • We have removed the Standard Show and Ditch and Switch weapon bundles, as the animations on the weapons were incorrectly shown. They will be back in Update 7.1
    Dev Note: If you already bought it, don’t worry, you’ll have your properly working animation very soon! 

Gadgets

Goo Gun

  • Fixed an issue where goo blobs hitting players who were stealing a Cashout would not interrupt the steal interaction as intended

Maps

Nozomi/Citadel

  • Fixed an issue where Nozomi/Citadel was being selected from the map pool less often that it should be in some modes

  • Fixed an issue where Nozomi/Citadel was not being selected from the map pool at all in TDM mode

Performance & Stability

  • Fixed an issue causing game servers to occasionally crash

UI

  • Fixed an issue where some circuit rewards were being displayed in the customization menu that were there too early and in some cases, were incorrect 

Weapons

General 

  • Temporarily disabled the new weapon system that was being used by all automatic weapons, due to an issue where players could wrongly be placed into the ‘uncontrolled’ movement state, thus increasing weapon recoil and bullet dispersion
    Dev Note: For now, these weapons are back on the old weapon system. The new system will be turned on again in a future update, once we have a fix for the issue in question. A special thank you to the community members who quickly identified the issue and reported it, this allowed us to rapidly improve the new weapon system and combat as a whole.

The Crimson Maid - GrimTalin SRL

Leon is the heir of the Rosenthal noble family and a much esteemed pillar of the community. He is married to Catrina and they have two sons, Marius and Remus. Coming from a long line of military figures, Leon himself is a decorated war hero, having fought during the Independence War, along with his brother and father - a general in the Romanian Army. When asked, though, his views on war are not what you'd expect - he abhors the notion completely and has raised his two sons as pacifists, breaking the tradition of his lineage.


Leon was the sole inheritor of the family fortunes, as his brother was disowned after he allegedly committed war crimes during the Independence War. Yet, long before receiving his inheritance, Leon had started a family business with his wife, Catrina - a small stained glass workshop that he grew into a large factory of renowned craftsmanship. After his father's passing and against his will, he split the inheritance with his renegade brother and invested a large part of his half in social projects, such as an orphanage, a school for young girls and a canteen for the poor. He became famous not only for his craft, but also for his generosity and his dedication to the wellbeing of his community.


When Leon retired, his decision was decried by all of his clients and associates. Rumours are that it was not simply age that led to his retirement, but rather a strange illness that overtook his mind. While sympathetic to his condition, it was the general consensus that his successor, his son Remus, couldn't possibly live up to Leon's reputation, both as an artisan and as a fair and skilled businessman. Nor did Remus seem interested in continuing his father's charitable work.

\[Fixed] Scope-related issues:

  • Vudu 1–6x24 scope crosshair is now visible at 1x magnification on all graphic settings

  • PSO 3–9x scope reticle no longer flickers when magnification is below 6.5x

  • PSO 3–9x scope reticle no longer appears distorted

Key fixes and additions of Patch 0.3.2.0:

  • Option to enable/disable illumination on selected scopes with illuminated reticles

  • Further VRAM optimizations

  • Equipping rigs no longer causes the vest armor to lose its protection value

  • Reduced restrictions on selected items in vendors' stocks

  • The effect of fog and rain drops on NVGs, scopes and collimators was reduced to increase visibility

  • Fix for the issue where the first time you access the Quick Access Menu, tactical devices appear empty with no items available

How to join?
  1. Go offline and online in Steam (via the Steam tab in the upper left corner).

  2. Right-click on Gray Zone Warfare and select "Properties."

  3. In the "Betas" tab, click on "none" ("Beta Participation" section) and select "public-experimental." server

  4. Update the game.

eXoSpace Combat Engineer Playtest - Fantastimaker
Another patch with a lot of balancing, bugfixes and improved tutorials and input hints.

Changes:
- Improved tutorial instructing in ship movement and combat.
- Improved on-screen control hints for flying and aiming.
- Added starmap tutorial.
- Save system updated: game is only saved when not in combat (to avoid rewinding time to a situation in which you die immediately again).
- Show warning when exiting to main menu and in combat.
- Enemies drop metal even when not killed by player, but a lesser amount.
- Boss no longer repairs itself and is a bit easier.
- Repair speed tuned to increase exponentionally over time (so initially slower, then faster).
- Parts are replaced with 25% health instead of 50%
- More asteroid types, normal asteroids give a little more metal.
- Module rewards scale a bit with the intended value of the reward.
- Pressing starmap or editor hotkeys while jumping now aborts jump instead of opening starmap or editor.
- Made the start a bit easier. The areas close to start are always neutral and have a distinct set of easier ofencounters.
- Fuel rewards are bit more likely, fuel is cheaper and traders may sell a bit more.
- Added encounter: trading outpost under attack by reavers.
- Added encounter: civilian stuck in minefield.

Bugfixes:
- Could not load designs with joint parts that were unlocked in the same session.
- Ship image would be incorrect size when continuing assignment.
- Several small encounter fixes.
- Crash when opening starmap via hotkey after being destroyed in rogue mode
- Fixed several issues and weirdness with the out of fuel situatin. The player ship "drifts off" while waiting for a response. Sending a distress signal while in combat is no longer possible.
