Ember the Werefox - adam_jd
Hello! If you've happened to visit our Steam store page recently, you may have noticed new art. We've been inspired to illustrate some "box art" that conveys the adventure and mystery of Ember the Werefox, without using our title screen or other pixel art.

We're really happy with what we've come up with!

Since there's no simple way to view our store art from the store page directly, I wanted to share a HD version of that here, and also share some demo news (below).




From October 28 - Nov 4th we'll be participating in Steam's spooky-themed-October games fest (tentatively called "Scream Fest"). For that, we've been making a significant push to share all that we've been working on since we first shared our game back in February (during our turn at NextFest). It's come a long way and we hope previous players and new players alike will enjoy all that Ember's initial experience in dreamland has become!

We'll announce that event again when it comes around, but please make a mental note to come enjoy a generous starting portion of this game, in about 10 days!

We don't have an official release date for Ember the Werefox yet, but we're fairly confident it'll be available before the end of 2024!

3 Hit Blunders Bundle - Late_teur_t_gem
LIVE NOW - October Update - Week #3

That's it, date committed. That gives me just short of two weeks to complete as much as I can. I will spend the first week clearing as much of the lists as I can. The second week getting demo/steam store page/website, ready for launch.

Lists of changes to be made before full release.
Crossed out means I've already got around to doing said change.

3 Hit Blunders Bundle
  • Redesign game icon.
  • Make an up to date Demo.
  • Update Steam store page/website.
  • Pause music when game is paused.
  • Sorted pause text getting misaligned.
  • Implement rumble for controller use, in all games.
  • Sort the audio breaking itself. After playing birds first
  • Add music and sound to all games to enhance gameplay.

Ah 'ate those flockin birds
  • Decrease spawn rate of distractions.
  • Stop all audio when pausing game.
  • Check positioning of submarine.
  • Set the humming bird to the right C64 colours.
  • Sort controls breaking if 1.75/2.00 speed is used.
  • Reposition text on title screen and high score, when using controller.
  • Sort the game selection screen not showing the right buttons for left and right, when changed by player.

Retroa Retroa Builda

  • Tweaked the star riding/hanging.
  • Sort the audio slowing, when entering create mode.
  • Sort the annoying player death audio glitch from hell.
  • Reset the swap button, after deselecting levels to swap.
  • Add the collapsing platforms to ledge grab adjustments.
  • Sort the player not lining up to the star when first grabbing.
  • Look into why sometimes the player seems to bounce off walls.
  • Hide the Pause/Esc to menu text. When showing an achievement.
  • Stopped double jump activating when the player jumps from a grabbed ledge.
  • Reposition song marker when deleting and replacing note, to position of note.
  • Sorted the music changing pitch/speed when turning sound off with controller/"G" key.

Slime? Climb?

  • Add score for killing birds.
  • Find the annoying bomb fuse noise glitch.
  • Do another pass of NPC animation update.
  • Add turn music off in the options/short cut.
  • Sort the complete row error. Rows sometimes/not completing.
  • Sort the FX off changing again when set then moving left or right.
  • Increase the response time of left and right movement of dropping blocks.
  • Drill/Bomb destroying blocks should remove row count of destroyed block.
  • Disable being able to use rotate block key when on the menu screen. Make it so it only works when in game.

PLEASE NOTE:

Whatever I don't get around to completing from the lists. Will still make it into the game, as I will not stop supporting this bundle of games after full release. I still have plenty of levels to be created and ideas to be added across the three games. So will remain updating and Polishing/fine tuning as I go. Especially as the level's created for Retroa Retroa Builda, were initially designed around the classic controls. So the bonus level's will better utilise the modern control's. Which could mean me changing/swapping the current selection of game level's. We'll see what the future brings.

All level's added and game changes/refinements made after full release, will be totally free updates.

Hi everyone!
The demo for Faunamorph has just been updated to version 0.7.4, fixing lots of bugs and making small tweaks!

Here are the patch notes for the update:

Visuals
  • ✨ Added particles to when projectiles hit something
  • 🗺️ Fixed Main Hub’s minimap showing a wrong room connection
  • 👾 Improved contrast between Sludgeswipe and background

Gameplay
  • 🏹 The velocity of ranged attacks has been increased
  • 🥊 The knockback caused by the player has been decreased

Bug Fixes
  • 💾 Save Station now enables the player’s input once again
  • 📺 Changing the resolution doesn’t spits out an error anymore

  • 🎥 Improved transitions between rooms

Hello friends! Every Friday 17:30 UTC/GMT - we hold a “Let’s play together” competition. During next 24 hours everyone is welcome to try and score the best time in a preselected level. Join our Discord server and keep Discord running while playing — your results will be automatically published in the #lets-play-together channel. You need to get 5 stars to qualify.

Glittering prizes include:
1) Top 3 winners receive one random card each. Collect 18 locomotive cards and advance to next set of 8 all new cards! Complete that second set and enter a final tier of 12 rare cards! Assemble all cards from all tiers and receive a special prize. Easy!
2) Every player registered by our Discord bot has a chance to get a card. The number of cards depends on the number of participants: one additional card for every 10 train connoisseurs on the list. More players means more prizes!

This small patch addresses some recent feedback and bugs, mostly related to achievements. Enjoy!

Updates
  • A new achievement has been added for reaching over 10,000 points in the "Tiles from The Dancing Moon" mini-game.
  • After some consideration, a number of high-target achievements have been adjusted to better match the expected playtime between average to loyal players:
    • The Master Hunter achievement target has been reduced to 300.
    • The Master Fisher achievement target has been reduced to 300.
    • The achievement for reaching 10 years in Illisor has been reduced to 5 years.
Bugfixes
  • Fixed an issue where the player could get stuck within a campsite in the Dewiland Meadows.
