To celebrate that, we're launching a very special update that not only brings some bugfixing, but also a graphic update!

• Implemented a new color restriction system and dithering pattern for a sharper retro aesthetic.

• Fixed a crash caused by the Earth Elemental enemy using Geomove skill

• Fixed a bug that erased the name change of Plasmoids when placed in the third slot

• Fixed a bug that erased the name change of Jenguren folks when placed in the third slot

• Fixed a bug that occasionally applied twice the cost when rerolling the store

• Fixed a rare issue where the loading of shaders during launch could crash the game.

We're Making Progress!

Since our last build, we felt that we wanted to go further with the game and take the time to make a truly outstanding experience. After months of hard work, we've finally firmed up the mechanics, aesthetics and gameplay of Terminal Error. Although this portion of the game is not yet complete, we have made great strides, creating something we believe is exceptional!

So, What's New?

We've expanded the world. Moving out of the Guardhouse, explore The Tunnel, the entrance to the military facility Site 41. Infected by the same flesh-like disease spreading in the Guardhouse, navigate this dangerous space while figuring out how to contain this disaster and get out safely...

Be careful though, you're being hunted...

Fresh New Maps

Inspired by Brutalist architecture, the new maps come with an oppressive and imposing atmosphere, weighing down on you as you sneak through the eerie corridors and try to avoid whatever is stalking you...

Also expect the grotesque sight of flesh, spreading and infecting the facility as you carefully traverse through it...

Fresh New Puzzles

More puzzles and more types of puzzles. We've added a wide array of challenges to overcome. The Terminal Puzzle, Electrical Box and Gear Box are just a few of our exciting new additions...

On top of that, we have new gadgets and interactable objects to mess around with and use throughout the game

Fresh New Graphics

As you might've noticed, the shader has also been improved to better fit our unsettling world and add to the horror mystery feeling...

More graphics and animations have also been added throughout to set the mood and better draw you in to the surreal world of Terminal Error

Fresh New Tutorial?

Even the Tutorial has been touched up, now with improved puzzles and a more refined experience. We have really made huge changes, making the moments more impactful and setting the stage for the world and it's larger plot...

The initial monster encounter has also changed... Just a little...

What's Next?

We've worked tirelessly on trying to make this gaming experience something truly special. Although our schedule has been rocky, we'll keep pushing through to make an exceptional game. At our heart, we're gamers like everyone else and simply want to make the best horror thriller game we can.

Luckily, updates should be coming slightly more often in the foreseeable future. Expect another significant update or two by the end of 2025. We'll also be adding more devlogs where possible to keep everyone updated on our progress, but no promises on how often!

As for localisation and translations, we are still awhile away. As the script and text keep changing, we will only be hopping over to other languages nearer the end of the development cycle. But do not worry! We are committed to bringing Terminal Error to you, so just give us time!

For those who have stuck with us from the start, we really appreciate your support and we want to assure everyone that we aren't quitting until this game in finished and up to the standard we want! We look forward to the feedback and building the best game possible!

Hi guys. I tried to release the update version 1.3 for the game. In this update, based on your requests, I have added a difficulty settings to the game, and now when you start a new game, you can choose between Easy and Normal difficulty. (Hard mod will be add Soon! 😁) Also the Brazilian subtitles has been added to the game.

A new patch is on the horizon, and it's bringing a mix of player-requested changes, quality-of-life improvements, and gameplay tweaks that we think you'll love. Here's what’s coming soon:

You've fought your way through the hordes and uncovered the horrors of the outbreak—but soon, your choices will lead to a new alternate ending. This will uncover a deeper truth of the epidemic.

We’re removing the current chapter selection system and replacing it with a more intuitive Load Game option. This will give you more freedom to jump back into your journey without breaking immersion or replaying large sections unnecessarily.

Scavenge smarter, not harder. We’re improving weapon placements throughout the game to make your arsenal feel more rewarding and better suited to your situation. Plus, expect increased loot availability to help you stay one step ahead of the undead.

It should feel powerful and purposeful. We’re tuning melee weapons to be easier to use and more satisfying in combat.

As always, we’re squashing bugs and smoothing out rough edges across the map. Expect general fixes and visual cleanups to enhance your immersion and gameplay stability.

This time we will talk about magic.

Spellcasting

1. Initiating spells & Casting spells

2. Completing spells & Countering spells (next week)

Atre Magical planes

Just a short reminder on four of our magical planes

• Atre Wud magical plane is about manipulation of mana

• Atre Men is about knowledge and power

• Atre Haad is all about destruction

• Atre Erol is about growth and economy

When you are selecting your character you get to choose how many points you have at each of your attribute, which also determines the speed of your research.

Every point above one will give you additional research speed for all spells of that plane. Once we have picked our attributes it's time to jump to our research tree in the game.

There is tons of spells for researching, and it’s up to you to pick on which ones you want to focus first. This is also a crucial part of your strategy.

• Do you want to focus on your weakest magical plane, or do you want to get strongest spells in the game from your own magical plane first, it’s totally up to you.

• There is no requirement other then your Omnipresence of which spell you can research, so you can skip spells that you are not interested in

Note: UI is not final, and it will be improved, this is just an example

Research and levels of the spell

Once the spell is successfully researched it’s not over. Your knowledge of that spell will be barely enough for you to cast it, and while you have access to all of the spell levels straight away, you will simply not be able to invest enough mana to cast a spell in any reasonable time.

• I mean you can always try casting a powerful spell for one full year, but is it worth it?

It’s smart to invest into researching same spell further, and gain as much knowledge about it as possible, later this will enable you to cast higher levels of that same spell in a very few days, which might be the difference between victory and defeat.

Each spell takes a certain amount of days to successfully cast it, and once it’s casted the spell will take effect.

Certain factors can affect your spellcasting, we will talk more about them in our next blog next week when we talk about Initiating spells & Casting spells

• Unless it’s denied by an enemy(or friend?)

• Or your friend decides to abandon the spellcasting and you do not have enough plane difficulty to cast a spell

• Or you run out of mana

We know a lot of you are eager to jump into a playtest, but we just want to get game into a really polished state, so that we get some advanced and cool feedback.

You play as Ryuuji, a man who, due to a series of unfortunate events, has contracted a mysterious illness. After being drugged by his own father and burdened with his debts, Ryuuji discovers that his condition requires regular release through contact with female hormones to avoid worsening symptoms. To manage his finances and treat his condition, he takes over the management of the Tenryuu Bathhouse. By earning income through the bathhouse, he upgrades its interior, expands services, and raises its reputation to attract a wider range of customers.
However, when Ryuuji’s libido spikes due to his illness, he must take action. Using his role as the bathhouse owner, he attempts to lure in seven different female protagonists, each with distinct backgrounds, as customers. Through repeated interactions, he gradually builds deeper emotional and physical connections with them.






In addition to managing the bathhouse for profit, players can venture into remote mountain areas to gather otherworldly herbs, craft special medicines, and sell them at high prices. There are also various other ways to earn money. Each in-game day is divided into four time periods, during which players can explore different areas, interact with various characters, obtain information, and engage in exchanges to improve income potential and increase favorability with the heroines.
If Ryuuji’s illness is left untreated, he will collapse and be rushed to the emergency room the next day, resulting in a significant financial loss or even death. Players must constantly monitor his physical condition to avoid tragic consequences.
