Mukti is not just a game, it’s a statement. It’s our promise to deliver a visually breathtaking, high-fidelity experience that pushes both storytelling and graphics to new heights. And today, we want to open the curtain a little on how we're achieving that.

Built on Unreal Engine 5.5 - Leveraging technology with precision

Mukti is developed on Unreal Engine 5.5.2, with a transition to 5.6 on the horizon. But instead of blindly adopting every shiny new tool, we’ve integrated Unreal’s next-gen technologies through the lens of real production experience knowing where they shine, where they strain, and how to make them work for us.

Here’s how we’ve strategically leveraged core systems to push Mukti’s visuals while keeping it optimized for both PS5 and PC:

Nanite - Intelligent use of virtualized geometry

Nanite unlocks the ability to use film grade assets directly in gameplay without traditional polygon budgets. But we’ve taken it a step further by redesigning our mesh pipeline, refining our topology standards and tuning topo density thresholds across different assets. This ensures Nanite is applied smartly where it has maximum visual payoff without overburdening the system. Our geometry workflow is now lean, predictable and stunning in motion.

Lumen - Full dynamic GI across the entire game

Mukti uses Lumen’s fully dynamic global illumination and reflections throughout the entire game. Not a single light is baked. From cinematic interiors to vast sunlit landscapes, every light source is live and reactive. Thanks to careful level architecture, material setup and performance tuning, we’ve achieved our visual fidelity targets without sacrificing frame rate even with 100% dynamic lighting.

Megalight - Next-gen lighting, customized

We’ve migrated to Megalight as our core lighting system, and we’re actively shaping it to match Mukti’s scale and mood. Our team is currently optimizing its integration to ensure we get the richness of physically correct light while keeping performance stable across platforms.

Full hardware ray tracing – Immersion at the core

Mukti supports full hardware ray tracing for reflections and shadows, a key part of its next-gen visual experience. On PlayStation 5, ray tracing is fully enabled by default, taking advantage of the console’s powerful GPU to bring dynamic lighting and reflections to life in every scene.

For PC players, ray tracing will be available as an optional setting, allowing users to balance performance and fidelity based on their hardware. Whether enabled or not, Mukti remains stunningly immersive but for those with capable GPUs, ray tracing adds that extra layer of cinematic realism.

Optimized without compromise

High-end visuals often come at the cost of performance, but not here. Mukti is being built to run smoothly on both PS5 and PC while delivering uncompromised graphical fidelity. With Unreal’s optimization tools and our custom rendering workflows, even the most detailed environments remain fluid and responsive.

2. Optimized the novice guide, removed the guide that is easy to get stuck, and changed it to a guide for fixed mandatory action card use

3. Fixed the bug that the backpack icon gets stuck when dragging props

By popular demand, walls will no longer overwrite markers and vice versa. This change only affects the PC version for now.

Changes in this patch:

- New story for the "Moon Shade Tarot" series added.
- Stories screen added for conveniently reading stories after acquiring them.

Each puzzle in the "Moon Shade Tarot" is now part of an ongoing story.

Reading all of them after acquiring them may be a good option as well.

Out of the Park Baseball 26 - Portal2Player

All-Star Week is always a special one, and Perfect Team 26 celebrated the Mid-Summer Classic in amazing ways!

Fresh off of their MVP performances in the Home Run Derby and All-Star Game, brand-new All-Star cards are here featuring Cal Raleigh and Kyle Schwarber. These cards are LOADED with power and will send baseballs flying out of the stadium.

We also celebrated great All-Stars from Atlanta's rich past, with superb pitching, hitting, defense, and speed on tap.

Finally, we spent a day building cards with our community live on stream and the results are spectacular! Check out the amazing new cards above, ranging across the entire spectrum of tiers, including Stone, Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Perfect!

Ronny's Climb - Zephyrix

Heya fellow deer enthusiasts!

The second content update for Ronny's Climb has just arrived on Steam, and it's available to play right now! Alongside some general improvements, this update, "The Tower of Trials," introduces an entirely new bonus stage complete with new Steam achievements to unlock, 100 gems to collect, and another par time ready for you to beat!

This update is meant as a token of appreciation for the most dedicated players who've gone above and beyond by achieving a full 100% completion of the main storyline. Once your statistics screen indicates 100% overall completion, the new stage will appear on your Stage Select screen. This new level is also significantly harder than the others and will hopefully prove to be a suitable challenge for those who have already mastered Ronny's Climb. For those still climbing towards 100%, I've adjusted a few par times to make your ascent a little smoother. As always, you can find the full patch notes below.

I sincerely hope you have as much fun conquering this new stage as I had creating it!

This stage is meant as a challenge dedicated to those who have mastered the game and hence is significantly harder than the other levels.

  • Made the par times for "Crystal Caverns", "The Summit" and "Finale" slightly easier to beat.

  • Some sound effects now sound less repetitive when played often.

  • The teleporter in "Treetop Trails" now has a sound effect.
