Update Log

  • Now, overlapping Mines will detonate sequentially when triggered by a minion. Extra mines won't detonate if the minion is already destroyed.
  • Removed the Special Stats HP Recovery.
  • Modified effects of 7 upgrades: Self Healing, Powerful Healing, Wheel of Fortune, Recovery Zone, Shield Link, First Aid, Egoism.
  • Modified preconditions of 1 upgrade: First Aid.
  • Modified types of 1 upgrade: Egoism.
  • Game parameters Minion Speed, Boss Speed, and Enemy Damage: Redesigned the growth curve after level 100.
  • Game parameter Minion HP: Redesigned the growth curve after level 60, and significantly reduced the growth rate after level 100.
  • Game parameter Boss HP: Adjusted in sync with Minion HP.
  • Adjusted the combat level requirements for unlocking all Challenge options.
  • Integrated the 9 separate Extra Difficulty challenges into a more intuitive difficulty level selection.
  • Added temporary icons for the difficulty level selection.
  • The Enable All and Disable All buttons for Challenges now no longer affect the difficulty level selection.
  • To gather new testing feedback and prevent unexpected errors, leaderboard data from v0.7.0t1 has been temporarily removed.

How To Get Beta Branch

1. Right-click on Geometry Arena 2 in your Steam library.
2. Click on "Properties".
3. Click on "Betas" tab.
4. Select "beta" from the drop-down box in the top right。
5. UPDATE AND PLAY!


Notice

Please be aware that the beta branch may contain potential bugs, which could even result in save file corruption. Ensure you regularly back up your saves.

  • After being replaced by the Pizza... Cookie is back with new functionality

  • Added an item collection so you can browse all the items in the game

  • Added a hotkey for restarting

  • The "destroy all balls" button can now be accessed at any time, it has a hotkey as well

  • Duplicate balls can no longer appear in prison, this includes balls you own

  • Reduced money gained on level

  • Slightly increased score scaling

  • Increased score penalty on scored balls during the boss

  • Pegs like Mouth and TSAR BOMBA wont count the balls score towards their total score, only the score they multiply

  • Potions can no longer trigger multiple times when hit by multiple balls at once

  • Tutorial messages from balls now show above windows

  • Pegs granted by Question Mark now gain power before being obtained (Affects pegs like Troll)

We’ve rolled out a new patch for PC & PS5 addressing key bugs and making optimizations to improve stability, performance, and combat flow.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a rare crash that could occur during auto-save while capturing screenshots.

  • Addressed an issue where voice audio was too quiet in the post-Vesper battle cutscene.

  • Optimized performance during the final boss fight to resolve significant frame rate drops.

  • Fixed an issue where players were unable to progress through the quest “Venture further into the Entropis Dimension” under certain conditions.

  • Resolved an issue where reloading a save after defeating the final Elite enemy in the Prologue—Imperial Plaza area could prevent progression under specific circumstances.

Optimization

  • Updated in-game button icons to support the newly added “Control Settings C” preset.

  • Optimized the mechanics for Greatsword and Scythe in certain combos, improving overall combat for a smoother experience.

  • Enhanced animations for select NPCs.

🧪 The Future of Drug Lord Tycoon

Many of you have noticed that we have not released an update for Drug Lord Tycoon for a couple of months now. Many of you have been worried that we have abandoned the game, which we have not!

Since the release of a popular game similar to ours we have been uncertain about the game's direction. We've had many ideas on how to change our game, and we want to deliver the best version of our game.

We have some big changes coming, but you will have to wait a little longer. We have read your feedback and here is how the future of Drug Lord Tycoon is going to look. 

🌿Drug system overhaul

The drugs have lacked depth, and therefore we are overhauling the drugs completely. Every drug will now have more depth. 

For example: you will be able to make custom strains of weed by crossbreeding strains and customizing traits. The same goes for all other drugs, where there will be similar depth to each, allowing you to optimize and customize your drugs.

📍 Progress and locations

Right now each location is very generic, and we want to change that as well. Each location will be unique and designed to support one specific drug, with the layout and conditions optimized for that drug alone. 

This means that new drugs will be unlocked by purchasing new properties, making expansion more meaningful and strategic.

💼 Management

A lot of your feedback has also involved the lack of money management, and so far the game hasn’t delivered much on the “tycoon” part of the name. 

We are currently working on adding more financial depth to the game and balancing current systems. 

We are still shaping exactly what that looks like, and we would love to hear your ideas. What systems would you like to see? And what’s missing?

  • Added "Silver Bear Figurine with Sapphire Ornaments" to the Artisan's Guild treasure vault. It was essential for completing the codex.

  • Added "Hand Held Mirror with Topaz Ornaments" to the Artisan's Guild treasure vault. It was essential for completing the codex.

  • Added four missing unique items to codex.

  • Valuable items were calculated wrongly in the codex.

  • Finishing game on very hard now unlocks all three achievements: Very hard, hard, normal.

  • Finishing game on hard now unlocks two achievements: Hard and normal.
