It’s the perfect time to introduce our brand-new Twitch mode: streamers can now let their viewers spice up their battle against the Genestealers with unpredictable and interesting twists.


How to use the Twitch Mode?
-Enter the name of your Twitch channel in the dedicated space. Careful: don’t use capital letters and don’t enter your URL channel! The game only needs your twitch channel name to work properly.
-Go to Multiplayer and start your stream.
And you’re done! Your viewers will be able to affect your game by voting in the chat, making the game harder or easier for you!

Space Hulk: Deathwing – Enhanced Edition expands tomorrow with the Infested Mines DLC, available free to all players for free.

Included in the massive update is a new map, Infested Mines, playable in Solo Special Missions and Multiplayer Co-op. With more verticality than any other map, these twisting underground caverns and corridors strike a balance between terrifying claustrophobia and wide-open battlefields.



This brings the total multiplayer map count of the game to eight, each with a massive amount of replayability on different difficulties and with various squad compositions. With improvements made to the general balance of the game as well as specific issues with AI Terminator team-mates, single-player and multiplayer games are improved substantially.

Also included in this update is the ability to turn off the HUD. This can give an additional level of difficulty and realistic feel to the fighting, as well as being the perfect way to make your own fantastic screenshots. On top of that is a raft of bug fixes and tweaks to keep the game running smoothly.



Today's update prepares the release of The Infested Mines DLC tomorrow. It will be available available through the Steam platform using the DLC menu on the game page.

The Infested Mines DLC for Space Hulk: Deathwing – Enhanced Edition will be available tomorrow on PC.

It's been two months since Space Hulk: Deathwing launched, and we've been heavily focused on improving performance in both the PC and PS4 versions, as well as fixing bugs that you've reported in the time since release.

To that end, we're happy today to announce a large patch coming to PS4 and PC later this month, Infested Mines.

Firstly, Infested Mines will introduce a new map, also called Infested Mines, playable in Solo Special Missions and Multiplayer Coop, and unlocked from the start of the game. This will be available to all players as free DLC.



Additionally, Infested Mines will introduce a photo mode to Space Hulk: Deathwing, allowing players to take screenshots of the game without the HUD appearing. This will be accessible from the options menu.

We'll also be introducing a number of quality of life changes in Infested Mines, with improved Terminator AI, you are now able to cancel a Psygate by pressing the activation button again, as well as a new option for server filters (you can now leave an option blank, instead of selecting either yes or no). We've now also reduced the distance at which you will be able to hear Explosive Genestealers.



On top of all of this, we've also implemented bug fixes, fixing issues that have been reported by the community since the time of launch.

Space Hulk: Deathwing - Enhanced Edition has released a week ago, and we’ve carefully read your feedback and reports about this major update.

We’re happy to release a first update, aimed to introduce some quality of life changes and bug fixes.

The size of the patch is around 450mo, but you might need more free space to apply the patch correctly.




New

• Added the Ping (ms) display for each current server. The ping might take a few seconds to be displayed and can be refreshed.
  
• Added New option in the Game panel that allows you to choose from different Muzzleflash intensity. By default is set at maximum.
  
• Added in the Controller panel a new option to activate/deactivate the vibrations.
  
• Improved security on your customization file.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed sometimes not getting XP at the end of the mission.
  
• Fixed when using a controller that you can’t scroll down the server list.
  
• Fixed deathcam camera could get stuck in some rare cases.
