GONE Fishing - Rockstone Golem

Hey everyone! Thank you for all of the bug reports since the last patch, most of them should be fixed now however there are still a few annoying bugs that I havent been able to fix yet. Ill have another patch out either tomorrow or the following day with fixes for them as well.

The save system now uses unique steam ids for managing players so loading saved games should now work more consistently.

  • The core issue with the upgrades not saving has finally been found and my brother is now in progress on fixing it. It should be fixed by tonight and will be pushed live by tomorrow morning. As of this current patch, the hosts upgrades should still work just fine however clients seem to always have upgrades of 3 0 0. This will be fixed very soon now that we know the core issue.

Fixed bug where the incorrect difficulty would be set when loading a saved game

Fixed bug where items and fish would not spawn in when loading a saved game on the swamp map

Fixed bug where fish would sometimes not be added to the inventory and would rather just fall on the floor

Fixed bug where the game would unexpectedly end in the middle of the day

Fixed bug where the depth finder would not work for clients

Fixed bug where, upon loading a saved game, a client's fish would reset to a point value of 1 and they would no longer be cooked or gambled. This was a replication issue and has now been fixed.

Fixed bug where a client would be unable to drink beer sometimes (this should be fully fixed now; however, there could be additional edge cases not fixed yet. Please let me know if this issue persists)

Fixed bug where small fish would either stand vertically on the grill or fall through the grill and become stuck

Fixed bug where clicking the unstuck button while your player is dead would cause you to bug out.

Fixed bug where players would sometimes spawn in the water after getting out of the driver's seat of the boat.

Fixed bug where one of the baby gorillas would be unable to be picked up on the bridge on the jungle map

🧊 Demo Freeze — What’s in the TGS build

Hi! We’re entering a feature freeze for the demo we’ll release on September 15 on Steam and also take to Tokyo Game Show. Here’s the final scope, what stays out to keep stability, and how you can help with your feedback at the event.

Included in the demo (TGS build)
  • Fishing mission: a short, clear loop to learn the basics.

  • Decoration Mode (magnet): move/place objects; energy lines and 3D dust on landing.

  • Diorama view: walk through the Japanese diorama (Marble Street) and enjoy the details.

  • Board mode: collect and unlock objects for the Japanese diorama (Marble Street).

  • Initial collectibles: 40+ items across urban props, plants, and signage.

  • Controller support: gamepad + keyboard (basic mapping).

Out of scope (for now)
  • New dioramas.

  • Additional missions beyond fishing.

How you can help
  • Try the four modes and tell us what reads in ~10s and what doesn’t.

Hello Riftbreakers!

We have just pushed a hotfix to remedy the issue that caused players to be unable to progress in many areas of the Campaign mode - scouting missions, various areas in the DLC missions, and others. We are very sorry for any problems we have caused.

This patch will not help if you have reached a point where the campaign has gotten stuck. We will develop a patch that will push your campaign flow further, but we need until tomorrow to get it done. In the meantime, loading an earlier save file should allow you to proceed without issues.

Additionally, we have received reports from users that Windows Defender throws a false positive, preventing them from accessing their save files. These are the troubleshooting steps that helped them:

Our investigation shows that this problem occurs when you have the 'Controlled Folder Access' feature enabled in Windows Defender Ransomware Protection. By default, it protects the Documents folder. If you have it enabled, you can probably see a lot of attempts by our game to write to your disk by checking the 'Protection History' section. You can whitelist the app from there.

If you encountered this issue, please make sure The Riftbreaker is whitelisted in your Windows Defender app.

Hey everyone,
The latest update of Desert Stalker is finally here!

Release highlights
In update 0.19, we see the MC going back into the desert, where him & Shani embark on a mission together. Aside from that, we also have some bathroom fun with Shani, two new living room events, and a short trip to the beloved Raiders' new base.

PS: Regarding the main event of this update, our plans for it were so big that we needed to split it in two parts, similar to the Zone, so the continuation will come in the next update.
Given that it involves the MC leaving his home, you will not be able to return before the next update (we will warn you in-game when that point is reached).

We would suggest to leave that content for last, or keep a separate save before that if you want to (re-)visit the various other activities around the house.


P.S. #2: The Spanish, Russian and Traditional Chinese translations are still being worked on by our translators. As soon as they become available to us, we will update the game accordingly.

Greetings, exorcists!

Update 0.4.25 is here to empower your relics and make sure no demon can defeat you! We'd like to introduce the relic upgrades system.

In the center of the Abbey you can find the Agnus Dei Statue. Interacting with the statue will open the upgrades screen, and this is where the fun begins.

Each relic has 3 different upgrades, and each upgrade has 2 or 3 tiers. So you can go all out in one relic, or upgrade a bit of every relic.

You can upgrade things like:

  • Faster candle movement speed.

  • Gain time back when performing correct inputs in the holy water minigame.

  • Crucifix minigame completes faster.

  • Slower oil target area.

  • Many more!

Upgrades cost offerings, and you gain offerings by completing exorcisms. So when going back to the Abbey from your travels, make sure stop by the statue to get your relics upgraded!

Upgrades carry over to martyr relics too. For example, if you upgrade the standard Crucifix and later you equip St. Beatrice's Crucifix, the upgrades will still apply to the new crucifix!

The inventory UI was updated to show how many offerings you currently have, and which upgrades have been unlocked for each relic. Hovering the asterisk* icon on the relic name tag will show the relic popup.
