What's going on?

Life came in between and halted progress a few months, but I'm back on it now! All the features are in place and to my knowledge - bug free. Now it's just a matter of keep producing content. There will be 40+ jobs at release (at the moment there are 10 jobs created).

So how long left?

1 month of hard work.

But realistically - 3-4 months.

Thanks everyone for coming to see my first game I made on my own: SeaCret 1!

I'm really happy.

Since I've kept this a secret for at most the last two months, I haven't been able to do open beta testing for everyone.

I've done a lot of testing myself with my closest loved ones, but it's possible there might be some bugs. None of them should be critical, though!

It's more likely that you don't know how some things work: The game is full of hidden features that aren't explained in the tutorial and you have to discover them yourself. Although some might be too difficult to figure out. If so, let me know, and I'll try to make it easier for those landlubbers.

If you run into any problems or anything, please report them on the forums.

✅ Bug Fixes:
Combat music system updated. Needs to be verified in the Play Test. It should now work consistently.

Added invisible barriers around Lord Alric to prevent unintended bugs during combat. Corrected floor collision.

Dialogue animations now transition much more naturally into the idle pose at the end.

Fixed facial animations for Edran (Player) – now fully functional.

Fixed an issue where the player could get stuck on a rock after finishing the dialogue with the first villager.

Temporarily removed the Reload Game button from the pause menu. It will be reintroduced once the save/load system is fully functional.

🆕 New Content & Features:
Added facial animations for Edran (Player) in all dialogues.

Added missing full-body animations for Edran in all stages of the demo.

Added a narrator system to replace cutscenes in the demo version of the game.

More bug fixes and some new quests for you all. It slipped under our radar that the Act V quests we made had an issue and were not in the game at all. You now have proper quest tracking right up until the end of the game, and for all cursed dungeons too.

+ New Additions:
  • Added new Act V quests and new cursed dungeon quests.

~ Balancing Changes:
  • Harvest Moons will now spawn more enemies due to a bug being fixed that altered their spawning to be lower. More info below. This does not affect the enemies spawned at resource outposts, only the ones spawned on islands/around your home.

! Bugs fixed and changes made:
  • Fixed enemy spawning bug that was making Harvest Moon's spawn too few enemies. This was especially noticeable for people with houses near the water or on small islands.

  • Various enemy behaviour changes to make fleeing better and improve navigation on player-built structures.

  • Fixed Void Boar getting stuck if the encounter reset while it was changing phase.

  • Added \Lightstone Crown\ to list of armor to unlock for the completionist quest.

  • Arrows no longer damage bushes or crops, which also makes ballista bows more effective and prevents their bolts from getting stuck in your farms.,

  • Tweaked the fog and sky settings to look better now that the camera can look into the horizon.

  • Made dungeon markers pulse when they are next on the quest objectives. This makes the dungeon locations more obvious to new players.

  • Various translation fixes.
