More variety is always welcome in RPGs. After the recently added shock system, we've woven new burning effects into the skill and ability trees.

Proper fire set and weapons are still on the way, but you can already set enemies ablaze with the current equipment.

Hi everyone - I want to start out with a huge thank you for trying out and supporting Range! It's been a privilege to build this out and share it with you all, and I'd especially like to thank everyone who has provided feedback to help improve the game.

In this update, I've made a number of small fixes and enhancements to address this feedback! Here's what you can expect:

* Upgraded engine to Godot 4.4.1 to allow for better compatibility via OpenGL fallback
* Fixed an issue where you could view tooltips for UI elements that had not yet been made visible
* Added more characters to task input fields
* Added ability to complete tasks during breaks
* Fixed an issue where tasks could disappear on the timer screen during back-to-back sessions
* Improved colors for background selection buttons
* Added the day/night cycle button to the vehicle customization screen
* Fixed an issue on ultrawide+ resolutions where foreground art would sometimes cover the vehicle during customization
* Fixed an issue with controller support that could interfere with mouse & keyboard controls

  • Improved brightness for L-size rooms.
  • Added 4 ambient sounds. (Strong Wind, Light Rain, Rain, Heavy Rain)
    Can now be toggled on/off independently of in-game weather.
    Matching weather presets for each sound are under consideration.

  • Default frame-rate preset changed from VSync to 60 FPS.
    Users who had VSync selected will be switched to 60 FPS automatically; if you notice tearing, please re-enable VSync.
  • Fixed delayed rendering of Godrays (window light shafts) when moving the camera.
  • Adjusted several avatar items.
  • Fixed a few ceiling lights.
  • Performance improvements.

Dear Authorizers,

Thank you for supporting Tower of Fantasy! We will be carrying out a maintenance update to bring you a better gaming experience. After the update, version 5.0 "Kailo Sector" will be released.

◤Update Time◢
May 13, 06:00–10:00 (UTC+0)
(Server opening time may be delayed or brought forward based on maintenance situation.)

◤How to Update◢
Resource Update: Once the server goes offline, you can update the game in advance and play the new version as soon as it reopens. We recommend using Wi-Fi for updates on mobile devices.
How to Update

PC:
1. After the server shuts down, manually exit the client and restart it to begin the update.
2. Once the resource update starts downloading, you can minimize the window, and it will continue in the background.
Note: The PC login system has been upgraded. If you experience a login error after updating, restart the client and log out before logging back in. If the issue persists, contact customer support.

Android & iOS:
1. After the server shuts down, download the new version from your app store.
2. Launch the game to start the resource update, which will continue in the background.

Server Shutdown Notice: We recommend exiting the game at least 15 minutes before the update. To prevent issues, avoid making purchases within 5 minutes before the server shuts down, as this may affect gameplay or cause account asset loss.

Compensation eligibility: players who have reached level 6 before the update.

New map Kailo - OreZero added.
Added 1 World Boss, "Queen Xeno," and several new species.
Added the Stellar Expedition Point system, introducing 9 new modes: Zeronium Cube, Gravity Controller, Batesian, Larva Collection, Horror Statue, Gravity Locks, MeteorCore Annihilation, Oscillite Stones and Pillars, and Kimberlite Mine.
3. Added Lyncis's Simulacrum Dorm.
4. Added the Space Support System.
5. Added a permanent PvE mode instance: Multiverse Hunt.
6. Added the event [Newcomer, Set Sail!] (available to all Authorizers after the update).
7. After the update, Evolution Frontier enters a new season.

◤Version Optimization and Bug Fixes◢
1. The Minimum Value for Equipment Advancement has been increased from its original value of ×0.4 to ×0.58 of the Maximum Value, and the probability across all Equipment Advancement ranges has been improved overall.
2. Weapon - Oblivion Star Skill "Starfall Cleave": The off-hand damage of "Dark Star: Frozen," dealing frost damage equal to 450% of ATK every second to nearby targets, has now been increased to 600%.
The final damage boost of "Dark Star: Retrograde" has been increased from 21% to 25%, and the off-hand damage dealt to nearby targets every second has been increased from 490% to 735% of ATK.
Dark Star: Retrograde" flame bullets dealing 420% of ATK per hit have now been increased to 570% of ATK.
Dark Star: Pulse" electric charge attack, consuming 1 stack on hit and dealing 280% of ATK to nearby targets, has now been increased to 500% of ATK. After all charges are cleared, the additional 700% of ATK dealt to nearby targets has been increased to 1,250% of ATK.
3. The purchase limit for select items in the Crystal Dust Store has been doubled: Booster Module, Advancement Module, Potent Omnium Crystal II, Augmentation Factor, and Augment Module Box V.
4. The features allowing players to instantly boost to level 60 and directly access the new map have been disabled.
5. Energy consumption for Mecha movements, such as sprinting, has been reduced.
6. Mechas now have a reduced rate of normal energy recovery and an increased energy recovery rate while out of combat.
7. Mechas will now continuously hover when off the ground instead of slowly descending.
8. When a weapon's normal attack hits a target, it will restore Mechas' energy, which can be restored up to 200%.
9. Mecha energy exceeding 100% will naturally deplete when out of combat.
10. All Mecha shoulder cannon skills no longer have individual cooldowns. Instead, they now share a global cooldown and consume energy.
11. When Mecha's current energy exceeds 100%, the energy consumption of shoulder cannon skills is reduced by 50%.
12. New Mecha Paints and Chip Linkages added.
13. New achievements for the Kailo map added.
14. The Face Editor feature has been optimized, and multiple new Simulacrum preset faces have been added.
15. Added a button to end the challenge quickly in Origin of War.
16. The Network map now supports Simulacrum Roaming.
17. The Echo function can now be used while piloting Mecha.
18. The item Refined Cluster can now be fused into Advanced Clusters.
19. Weapon Batteries I-IV and Matrix Data Packs I-IV can now be recycled.
20. Crew donation item changed to Elemental Ore.
21. Crew Missions optimized.
22. Notifications for incomplete prerequisite missions optimized.
23. Fixed the issue preventing the completion of NPC Celine's related Side Mission.
24. Fixed the Weapon Gallery error in Break From Destiny.
25. Fixed other issues previously reported.
26. Adjusted and optimized some other modes and features.

As our spring cleaning continues, we're bringing a few additional fixes with today's update. Make sure you’re on the latest version of the game, which will be 1.22.4 after the update.

Here’s a list of the fixes:
  • Fixed some audio issues with Sola’s track
  • Removed the reference to a non-existent symbol on the HUD widget
  • Fixed the issue with the cursor hovering on Bundles not displaying the description in the ‘Featured’ tab
  • Fixed various Tower Raid board assertion issues, unabling players to e.g., interact with the board, load the Tower Raid hub and missing data
  • Fixed the issue with the Icon of Hunter's bolts sometimes being overscaled
  • Fixed the issue on the Steam Deck, where longer dialogues could sometimes be overlapped by the item selector
  • Fixed the issue where the Player cannot lose an extra life when the online game privacy setting is "Single Player"
  • Fixed the issue with Exploding Knives having exploding VFX on contact with the environment on initial hit, but not on enemies
  • Fixed the issue with Tower Raid Class icons on the radar HUD sometimes being improperly shown
  • Fixed the issue with blueprints in Jai's Vendor tab sometimes lacking item details in the tooltip
  • Fixed the issue where Players do not lose lives in a co-op session of Tower Raid and lost lives are calculated only when Peers drop from the session
