What will happen with this update?
 It is very difficult to say,
 We would like to update on 11/15 as we have announced.
 We have decided to postpone the update because we believe that we can make the game a little more interesting and satisfying.
We are currently in the process of reviewing and adjusting skills and game balance, so the update cannot be implemented immediately.


Why did you decide to postpone the update?
 I have been working on the update with the intention of doing the best I can to respond to the money we have received from current users.
 I have been working on the update to the best of my ability.
 I was more fixated than necessary on the point that “it is important to take action at the time of the sale.
 I also felt that if I had one more week, I could make it a little more interesting, or a little more satisfactory.
 We thought it would be more beneficial to postpone the update by one week.
 In fact, this was something that could have been adjusted after the update.

 Also, in working alone, I lost track of who was waiting for my update, and I failed to take into account the importance of this point, when in fact there were people who were expecting it.
 As for my failure to inform you on STEAM, it was also because I lacked the recognition that my postponement of the update was a disappointment to users' expectations.
 The very question and perception of “are there people waiting for the update?” was a big mistake and very, very rude. I am sorry for that.

We’re excited to bring you a brand new update! This update is packed with exciting new features, improvements, and technical upgrades. Check it out and let us know what you think!

Menu:
  • New Main Menu: We’ve completely revamped the main menu to make it more visually appealing. It already contains buttons that we bring to life in the next update ;)

Gameplay Mechanics:
  • Respawn Mechanic: When a Cluby dies, it now transforms into a Cluby Essence. Collect it to respawn the Cluby and continue the fun!
  • Improved Beds: Beds have been optimized to function even more smoothly, enhancing overall gameplay flow.

Co-op Improvements:
  • Independent Game Logic: Each player now operates with independent game logic, meaning e.g. one Cluby per player is always awake and can’t fall asleep or a player can jump out if tge cannon even if other players run around.
  • Respawn Teammates: You can now respawn Clubies from other players, encouraging more teamwork in co-op play.

AI Improvements:
  • AI as a Full Player: The AI now functions as a full-fledged player! It will be tracked by the camera, can win the game for you, set highscores, and even respawn your Clubies.
  • AI Interaction: The AI can now interact with all in-game objects, such as cannons and beds.

Technical Improvements:
  • Automatic User Management: From now on, you’ll be automatically logged in via your Steam account for highscores and other online features.
  • Enhanced NPC AI: The AI has been technically upgraded to behave smarter, with more knowledge of the game world. This also allows us to create new AIs faster in future updates.

Bumpkin and Sprout Playtest - Rabid Rat
Ah.. PGA 2024.. that was an amazing experience! With over 750 players playing and around 40,000 pieces of trash cleaned up from our world, it was both fun and insightful. The event served as a great testing ground, and while the game ran smoothly overall, we did identify a few areas that were more challenging than expected.

We’re excited to share a post-PGA update where we’ve addressed these issues and added localization support.

We’re focusing on cooperative mechanics, player controller, and enhancing enemy interactions.
Goblin Camp - Gencee
v0.41.1 is a minor patch to the Farming Update. Improved harvest logic and better rye efficiencies allows for large scale rye bread production for camps of 150+ goblins.

  • Improved harvesting: Once Improved Farming is researched, goblins will perform farm harvests in a far more organized and efficient manner. This is crucial for large scale farming.
  • Rye threshing, nettle processing and flax retting now consume full item stacks at once. This substantially increases the efficiency of these workshops, most importantly allowing for larger scale rye bread production.
  • Increase turnip, rye stalk, nettle plant and flax strand stack sizes.
  • Root crop harvests now take longer without the appropriate tools.
  • Hoeing tools are used if available for root crop harvests.
  • Use more appropriate animations for removing flora by hand.
  • Items floating on the river that bump into a bridge now end up ontop of the bridge instead of on the river floor.
  • Fix dwarven tools technology description
  • Fix structure descriptions getting mixed up if a structure had a very short description.
  • Fix mobs getting stuck with a practically 0 move speed if they had enough move speed debuffs.
  • Removed pathfinding queue, in large enough camps it could lead to long wait times that would interfere with camp functionality.
  • Tune pathfinding costs through mud and difficult terrain. Goblins are now likelier to walk through mud instead of taking very long detours.
  • Add missing indicator sprite for In Mud status.
  • Fix In Mud status effects lingering for too long.
