Quick Translate Engine - ENSEKE

We continue to improve our application based on your feedback. With this update, we have completely revamped both the infrastructure and the interface of the program, making it more powerful and enjoyable to use. Here are the highlights:

Major Enhancements

  • Superior Recognition Even on Challenging Game Fonts: New OCR Engine!

    • We have replaced the core of the screen translation feature with a next-generation OCR engine that can recognize stylized and diverse fonts commonly found in games with much higher accuracy. This has both increased recognition quality and significantly sped up screen capture processes.

  • Fluid and Modern Settings Menu

    • To address performance issues and freezes in the settings window, we have completely redesigned the interface. Now, managing your settings is easier and more pleasant with a much more responsive, modern, and clean menu design.

New Features and Conveniences

  • API Key Validation and Testing

    • You can now instantly check the validity of your DeepL, Yandex, Microsoft, or OpenAI API keys with the "Verify" button added to the API Settings tab.

  • API Key Hide/Show

    • You can now easily hide and show your API key by clicking the eye (👁️) icon next to the API key input fields.

  • First-Time Setup Warning

    • If no saved API key is found when the application is run for the first time, a warning window is displayed, indicating that a key must be entered for the translation feature to work.

  • Improved and Draggable Translation Bubble

    • The OCR translation bubble is now more user-friendly! You can close it anytime with the added close button (❌) and drag it anywhere on the screen with your mouse.

Improvements and Fixes

  • Smarter Instant Subtitle Translation: The instant subtitle translation feature has been improved to track on-screen text more intelligently, providing a more stable and fluid translation experience.

  • Enhanced OpenAI (GPT) Translation Quality: The prompts sent to the OpenAI API have been optimized to produce more natural and context-aware translations, especially for movie and series subtitles.

  • Optimized OCR Language Selection: To ensure the highest performance of our new and more powerful OCR engine, only a single language can now be selected from the OCR Detection Language menu. This maximizes recognition accuracy.

We have some important news to share: our game is now available for free on Steam.

This decision was made for a simple reason: when we launched, the game was designed as a learning project for me, and the main focus was always the creative process. Now, with the goal of reaching more players and getting a higher number of feedbacks, we've decided it no longer makes sense to keep a price on it.

By making it free, we hope more people can try it out and share their opinions and suggestions. Your feedback is extremely valuable and essential for my growth as a developer.

LUMINES REMASTERED - SuperPac

LOS ANGELES, Calif., August 26, 2025 — Enhance, the award-winning game developer and publisher behind Tetris® Effect: Connected and Rez Infinite, announced that a limited-time demo of their highly-anticipated upcoming puzzle game LUMINES ARISE is available now to play on PlayStation®5 and Steam (as of 6am Pacific time, today), and includes the new multiplayer Burst Battle mode, which is being shown to the public for the first time ever.

Enhance also revealed that the full game will be launching on November 11th, and that players can pre-order the game as of today – both the standard edition ($39.99 USD / €39,99 EUR / ¥5,400 JPY), and Digital Deluxe Edition ($44.99 USD / €44,99 EUR / ¥5,900 JPY) (which includes Avatars and name plates from other game franchises, including beloved PlayStation series ASTRO BOT and previous Enhance games like Tetris Effect: Connected.

Magecraft: Spellbuilding - Violet Grimoire

Magecraft: Spellbuilding will be released on Friday, September 12th, 2025, around 5am PDT.

This full release will include:

  • A total of 3 dungeons (2 new ones in addition to the demo's Fae Forest dungeon)

  • More than 64 Sigils to collect and use in Spellbuilding

  • The Abyss - a separate mode that takes advantage of more rogue-lite elements, such as randomized starting characters and decks

The save data from the demo is compatible with the full release, and should be picked up automatically when the game is started.

Playtest 7 will start at 1pm Pacific on 9-3-2025 and will run through 9-8-2025. This playtest features tons of changes based on your feedback from playtest 6 as well as a greatly expanded quest line, new 1vX NPC code that is unparalleled in the slasher genre, a new enemy type, new control options, tons of QoL and more.

Right after playtest 6 I also released a new official game trailer. Huge shout out to everyone who participating in the filming. The trailer is absolutely fire and I'm super grateful for all the help from the community. ICYMI:



What's new in Playtest 7?

  1. Content
    • Greatly expanded the main quest line
    • Significant updates to the ice cave including new sections, new chests/secrets, and a new NPC type
    • Added a new 1vX AI module that makes the harder AIs riposte transfer, target switch, etc in 1vX scenarios.
    • A new kata, called the Kata of the Fading Sun. Currently Raydil has the #1 time.

  2. Community Feedback
    • Killing another player near their bind stone banishes them to a far away bindstone
    • When you go through a red portal you will not be sent to a bind stone that is being camped
    • Ability slot unlocks no longer require Kata's instead those have greatly increased quest rewards
    • The entrance has a PvP toggle
    • Ice golem hitboxes have been reworked to use the Basalt Golem code base
    • Greatly improved the directionality of the audio to give a better indication of direction and distance
    • You can now practice specific phases of the initiation trial and other challenges
    • You can now practice defending against kicks at the block trainer
    • Player loot crystals now persist for 30 minutes and are visually distinct from NPC crystals
    • Tons more, thanks so much to all of you who dropped suggestions in discord

  3. QoL
    • You can now search and filter your inventory
    • Added new control schemes such as "Freeblock" which lets you update your block direction in real time while holding RMB.
    • Added a "Buffered Kiai" option that applies your kiai to the next attack rather than the current one
    • Added control presets that load in specific recommended configurations
    • Katas now show a preview of the next orb
    • The arena is greatly streamlined, NPC duels are greatly sped up if two npcs are fighting and players are queued, npc's auto spawn if you are waiting for an opponent, etc

  4. Bug Fixes
    • Fixed issues with swords not loading in properly
    • Fixed a couple of issues with NPCs not resetting properly between duels
    • Fixed a bug where you could get stuck on the "play now" screen
    • Many more
