⚙️【Fixes】

  • Fixed an issue where the achievement "Devourer: Devour all Dream Eggs and Tarot Cards" could not be triggered.

  • Fixed an issue in the Strength stage where the protagonist would not leak air when damaged.

  • Fixed missing dodge indicator ring for clones in the Lovers stage.

  • Item Adjustment: The single-instance damage of Cursed Paradox is now capped at 100,000.

  • Item Adjustment: The base attack bonus from Equilibrium Dream Egg has been changed to 200%, stacking up to 1,000% with multiple Dream Eggs.

📌【Optimizations】

  • Improved inventory UI, added filtering functionality.

  • Added a “Devour All Unactivated Dream Eggs” button.

  • Dream Eggs can now be activated and devoured directly in the shop interface.

  • Items of the same type will now automatically group together.

🧩【Adjustments】

  • Unlocking Endless Mode now requires clearing 15 layers of Dreamland on Nightmare difficulty.

  • Increased enemy level scaling in higher difficulties of regular Dreamland.

  • The tutorial now includes visual guides for six different builds.

  • Adjusted the effect of the Foundation Dream Egg: Now converts 20% of shield value into base attack.

  • Tweaked and optimized Tarot Dream stages: Lovers, Hermit, Temperance, and Star.

Hello everyone!

It’s been an incredibly busy couple of months, and I'm thrilled to share the massive progress made on Loya. Your feedback has been invaluable, and based on it, I’ve focused on making the game a cohesive and meaningful adventure.

The Living Core: A New Way to Grow

The biggest change is a fundamental redesign of how you upgrade your mobile fortress. The old system didnt really make use of upgrading the core until very late and only required one item. Now, your Core is a living creature that you must nurture.

  • Feed the Core: Instead of using one specific item, you can now feed your Core almost any item you find in the world! From wood and stone to rare monster parts, each item contributes to your Core’s growth.

  • Organic Progression: Your Core will evolve through multiple tiers, unlocking new abilities like walking, charging, and more. This makes exploration feel incredibly rewarding, as every biome holds new "food" to empower your base.

  • Energy: No more energy cubes. Now, feeding your Core is the primary way to restore its energy, creating a seamless loop of exploring, gathering, and recharging.

The main Guide: The World Codex

I have removed the intrusive, linear quest log from the top-left of the screen. Your primary guide is now the World Codex, a dynamic in-game encyclopedia that you fill out yourself.

  • Discover, Don't Follow: As you interact with the world—by fighting monsters, discovering biomes, or crafting items—you'll unlock detailed Codex entries. These entries provide lore, hints on where to find rare materials, and track your major objectives.

  • A New Beginning: To introduce this new system, all players will now start on the Lost Portal. Your goal is clear: discover the secrets of this world, grow strong enough to leave, and find your way home.

Deeper Systems, Meaningful Choices

I wanted to give more depth and strategic choice to the game.

  • The Forge: The forge is no longer a simple minigame. It is now the central hub for creating dozens of unique weapons, shields, and armor sets. Gear no longer drops from monsters; you must explore the world to find the resources and forge the equipment you need to survive.

  • A More Dangerous World: Biomes have been completely rebalanced. The Mushroom Forest is now a vast, dangerous region, and rare resources like Iron have been moved to the treacherous Mountains, giving you a real reason to push into more challenging areas.

  • Smarter Combat: Giants no longer attack players on sight and can only be damaged by your Core's turrets, reinforcing the core purpose of your mobile fortress. Overall combat responsiveness has also been polished to feel smoother and more impactful.

And So Much More...

Alongside these huge system changes, countless bugs have been squashed and I added a ton of Quality-of-Life improvements, including:

  • Overhauling UI elements for clarity, including the crafting table and furnace.

  • Fixing major progression blockers related to quests and item drops.

  • Improving camera controls and player movement.

This has been a very intense period of development, laying a rock-solid foundation for the future. The game is now more stable, more intuitive, and infinitely more rewarding. The playtests will keep going for a while, if you want to try the game, join the discord and let me know!

Cubic Odyssey - pryanick

Online sessions are now more stable, and many gameplay mechanics synchronize properly between the host and the client. We also have improved the speeders hovering system, fixed several bugs related to spaceships.

Online improvements
  • Fixed looting of space chests as an online client.

  • Fixed a situation in which a client could not summon its speeder anymore after leaving it on some other planet.

  • Ship position and orientation sync over network has been improved.

  • NPC appearance is now properly synced across network.

  • Derelict and for-sale ships now spawn correctly with their doors and driving seats for online clients.

  • Some quest steps will complete now for the host when a client performs them.

  • Fixed an issue which caused locked ship controls when joining an online session from a space station.

Spaceship and vehicle improvements
  • Fixed more occasions which would reset a ship's design when repairing.

  • Tweaks to the planet vehicles hovering system.

  • After unlocking the mobile planet purifier, the final step of purifying can be triggered from the player’s UI.

  • Fixed an issue causing multiple first broken speeders to spawn on the first planet.

  • Fixed a situation in which a ship's damage FX would remain in the scene even after the ship would be removed.

  • Fixed some issues with the range from which a player could teleport back to his ship.

  • When replacing a ship’s battery, the HUD message now correctly reports the number of remaining batteries.

Bug Fixes & other improvements
  • Some safeguards have been put in place now to not allow certain actions like repairing or modyfing a ship while it’s been processed by the game engine.

  • Fixed an issue causing the quest markers for the towers on Quberion to disappear.

  • Fixed a situation which would have a temple spawn without its decorations.

  • Fixed the stuck player’s firing of weapons during cutscenes.

  • Fixed a situation in which space darkness generators would respawn on load.

  • Planet portals UI will show only properly activated portals now (they used to show all discovered ones, even powered down ones).

  • The UI and Text scale options are not available on consoles too.

  • The reward chest from clearing a planet now spawns correctly at the base of the statue.

  • Multiple crash fixes and other tweaks.

NARAKA: BLADEPOINT is committed to creating a fair and healthy competitive environment. We have not only used new anti-cheat technologies, but also established special cheat-reporting reward activities to encourage those players who defend the fairness with us. From now on, players who make outstanding contributions to reporting cheats will get the Legendary spear skin 'Righteous Polearm' .

More details:
1. Players who successfully reported 1 time will get \[Immortal Treasure] X1;

2. Players who successfully report 10 times with low misreport rate will get \[Immortal Treasure] X10 (In order to ensure the efficiency of detecting, please report reasonably);

3. Players who have successfully reported for many times or made great contributions to anti-cheat will get the Legendary spear skin \[Righteous Polearm] X1.

We strongly recommend that players report via in-game report system, so that we can confirm the cheat as soon as possible and record successful report times for you!

From 7/14- 7/20, there are 5 players who have successfully reported the cheating or hacking in total and get the reward \[Righteous Polearm]! We hope that more players can become the Justice Supporter on the Morus Isle in the future.

Thank you all for playing the first gameplay evolution during Cycle 1 and congratulations to all the winners!

I decided to compete as well this time and took the top spot, but worry not! My submission covers some of the ideas of players that didn't make it, as well as many solutions for feedback that people provided through Discord.

There are no drastic changes to gameplay this time around, but we have some very exciting things that will have a huge impact on how the game feels!
