Zaxterion: Space Frenzy! - ZaxtorGameS
Hello all,

In this big update to Zaxterion: Space Frenzy!, I've addressed several bugs that mostly dealt with the most newly added baby spider hordes that I added last summer to the game. It's been several weeks making this update, so I'm honestly void of exactly what bugs I fixed now, but I assure you that those baby spiders are still a massive pain to deal with! The best bet is to not let that spider lay too many eggs in his web without taking care of them!

The main part of this patch adds two brand new ships to the game that you can earn and play forever once you earn and purchase them! ..Remember that the game saves all of your earned Zaxterion in the game and all of your purchased ships you use that Zaxterion to buy!


"Crazy Kyle!" is the first "ship" you can purchase and yes, you see that correct if you think you just see a dude in standard clothing and a propeller attached to his head! ..Notice in the ship stats that he also has a slow shooting speed and ZERO armor! ..This guy is just for "fun" and/or for bragging rights if you happen to find this game just "too easy"!


"The Swagger" is the second new ship that I've added to the game in this update, and you might have noticed that this ship has NO standard shooting! This ship is all about using your path to double up on your trail to set it ablaze which can not only harm all asteroids and enemies in the game, but also damage YOU if you run into it! Be careful with it, learn how to use it, and I'm sure you'll fall in love with the new "Swagger" ship with it's unique powers!

These two ships now make to the total number of ships 12, and should help add to the replay value of a game I already feel has extremely high replay-ability! I hope you enjoy it, and as with all my new content, I'm sure there will be a few bugs to fix with the added content, so be sure and post any in the forums or in a comment below should you witness anything gone wrong!

Space Time Shipyard - darthhawk
This game will be released in two major phases. The first major phase will see the game released as a 2D version titled "ENGAGE!". ENGAGE! will focus primarily on commanding fleets. The second major phase will be released as a 3D space simulator titled "Space Time Shipyard".

The first major phase is planned to be completed and released at most sometime during the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2025. However I'm trying to get it out by June 2025. The second major phase will be released after the first but the second phase will be in early access for some time after its initial major release and will continue to receive updates until it is out of early access and beyond.


Why release a 2D version and 3D version of the game?
It's going to take longer to come out with the 3D version of the game than I planned. I want to give those who have already purchased the game something.

Why has it taken so long to work on this game? This game was initially released back in 2017 on Steam.
Life happened. After the first initial early access release several years ago my human rights were violated and I ended up being homeless for some years. Life is not fair and sometimes evil people get away with committing crimes. I was living in California back then and California is very different from the rest of the USA. In 2022 I was no longer homeless. But my credit rating was a mess. So I had to work on fixing that so I could move somewhere not in California. I had to spend the majority of my time working various jobs instead of working on this title.

Last year, 2024, I successfully succeeded in recovering my credit rating from a high 300 to the 700s and moved out of California. End of November 2024 a third party published a physical product I designed; a new fantasy role playing tabletop game called Wizard Bane. I am now able to spend the time (5 to 10 hours a day) developing this title again.
