Cosmic Horror Tales - Samtorm
Hello everyone!
We’ve been hard at work refining the demo as we prepare for the upcoming acts of Cosmic Horror Tales. Patch 2.0 brings a range of improvements aimed at enhancing both gameplay and immersion. Here’s what’s new:

1. New Tutorial Area
Dive deeper into Henry’s life and uncover the reasons behind his current mission. The revamped tutorial offers a more narrative-driven introduction to the story.

2. Expanded Mechanics
Players can now run, jump across gaps, climb, and interact with objects more fluidly, allowing for richer and more dynamic exploration.

3. Redesigned Menu System
The new in-game menu offers improved organization for items, clues, characters, light sources, and character upgrades, helping players stay informed as the story unfolds.

4. Enhanced Atmosphere & Audio
We’ve added ambient and navigational sounds to the user interface, along with new audio cues to further immerse players in key story moments.

5. Stargazer Updates
Our mysterious Stargazer has received a minor visual refresh and some small gameplay tweaks.

6. Improved Navigation & Hidden Paths
We’ve added new hidden passages and made adjustments to level layout, making exploration more rewarding and the overall journey more intuitive.

7. Bug Fixes & Performance
Resolved several issues related to the pause menu and implemented performance optimizations to ensure a smoother experience.

Spirit City: Lofi Sessions - K dawg
Hello Spiritographers,

We recently introduced a major change to the session timer with many new features, while many folks appreciated the improvements, it didn't quite resonate with everyone.
It's important to us that Spirit City: Lofi Sessions remains as accessible as possible, so we've been carefully tracking your feedback.

In an upcoming hotfix we're making some additional improvements and bugfixes to the session timer. We hope this addresses some of your concerns, and please feel free to continue letting us know what you think, as we are always working on improvements.

The main items that will be addressed are:

  • Increasing the minute limit of the session timer to 180 minutes from 60 minutes
  • Setting the "Long Break" to zero minutes will remove it from the session
  • An alternative circle view for the session timer, in the timer options menu
  • An option to hide the countdown numbers in the timer options menu
  • An option to hide the date/time
  • Fixing various other bugs

We plan on releasing this update next week on Wednesday May 21st, if everything goes smoothly.

Saw Key Placement (Level 3): Fixed an issue preventing the Saw Key from being placed in its proper stand.

Lighting Consistency: Restored darkness to areas that were unintentionally bright.

Air Push (Level 2): Fixed an issue where the player wasn’t being pushed by air currents.

Particle Effects & Graffiti: Ensured graffiti art no longer renders in front of particle effects.
