  1. Mech Mode parameter tuning
    • Shell-resupply activation time reduced to 10 s.
    • When not taking damage, HP auto-regenerates 2/200 per second.
    • New “Easy Difficulty” lets you call in AI mech teammates for support.

  2. Roach control update
    • Default camera now follows terrain and mouse movement.
    • Press V to toggle back to the original control scheme.
    • Mouse-wheel adjusts camera zoom.

  3. Roach Mode difficulty lowered
    • Time needed to activate a nest halved.
    • Energy required to charge skills halved.
    • Rapid HP regeneration when out of danger.

  4. Tutorial page guidance refined.

Starship Simulator Dev Playtest - Fleetyard Studios
  • Converted the Magellan Class loading screen to be a proper 3D environment instead of a slideshow of images.
  • Updated the Loading Screen text widget to be a 3D object instead of a 2D overlay.
  • Started using Epic's new Gameplay Message Subsystem for managing global events instead of a third party plugin (another plugin deleted, yay!).
  • Completely overhauled the loading sequence for the Magellan Class, with improved code and a more realistic sequence of events for the ship construction.
  • Upgraded to Unreal Engine 5.6.
  • Improved the fade-to-black which transitions the player from the Main Menu to the Loading Screen.
  • Improved galactic sector generation times, reducing it from ~30ms to only ~3-5ms per sector.
  • Optimised the lighting optimisation. It now uses extended mesh bounds to decide light visibility instead of invisible spheres (which break Lumen).
  • Updated all of the lights in the game to support Lumen and MegaLights properly, with a view to enabling those features soon.
  • Fixed a corrupt blueprint that was preventing the ship from receiving inputs.
  • Fixed some issues with the player character that was preventing VR compatibility.
  • Added a VR character with full body IK.
  • Added widget interaction to the right VR hand. The touch point is just above the index finger. Not sure why it's straying from the bone yet.

Realms of Wilorth - Reckless Monster
What's new in the demo?

It’s been over a year since the last demo update – and in that time, the game has grown tremendously. While the full version now includes all realms and bosses, the demo still focuses on the Nature Realm, just like before… but everything around it has leveled up.

Here’s a breakdown of some major changes:


🔧 Massive UI Overhaul
The interface has been almost completely redesigned to be cleaner, more readable, and easier to navigate. It’s still being polished, but it already feels like a huge step forward.

⚔️ Combat Feels Better Than Ever
Enemy telegraphs are now much more readable: enemies slow down before attacking, and new ground indicators make danger zones clear. The result? Combat is way more fun and satisfying (and yes — we’ll keep refining it!).

🌀 Reworked Character Abilities
All characters still use their classic tap and charge attacks, but their behaviors have been adjusted for better balance and more dynamic fights.

🌄 Major Visual Upgrade
Every realm now features lighting and shadows to bring environments to life — all while staying true to the retro PSX-style aesthetic.

👾 More Enemy Variety
Across all realms, enemy variety has been greatly expanded. (Note: this is mostly visible in the full version, we felt that the Nature Realm had enough enemy variety)


Honestly, there have been so many changes over the past year, I’ve probably forgotten more than half of them… but I hope you’ll feel the difference the moment you jump in.

If you played the old demo — this is a whole new experience. And if you’re new — there’s never been a better time to try it.
