Some Helpful Hints:

  • The Safe CAN'T be opened if you have killed any creatures, bosses, or have cheats on (You won't drown, just go straight there on a new playthrough)

  • Make sure the Lobby Host is the one Entering the codes!!! (Server Host is the one who checks if the final code is correct)

  • For everyday the code cannot be cracked, I'll give a big hint for one of the numbers!

Hello, everyone. This update newsletter comes a bit later than I wanted, but better late than never! We have a good handful of things to show off this time around, including a new enemy, some sketches, and other little improvements.

Firstly, I want to introduce the new chicken coup map! There will actually be chickens here, and you can even feed them!

But that won't be all. Someone or something has to guard these chickens from opportunistic foxes. How about a bigger and angrier chicken?

The Chiropter will return as a guest to Fay's manor! Here's some sketches for an animatic during her dinner scene depending on a choice you make.

I've been working on balance changes for sleepiness. You'll find that it takes longer for Henrietta to get tired. The amount you need to sleep to rid of your sleepiness has also been reduced. In light of all this, if Henri gets too tired, she'll eventually collapse! It takes about an in-game day's time from having 0 sleepiness to collapse.

Lastly, running leaves a little puff effect and there is a proper ladder climbing animation!

We're still working on trying to get this new final demo set up, but we're currently having some difficulties with our new pathfinding system, which is heavily based on sectors. It will require much testing and bug-fixing at this point, so unfortunately you guys will have to keep on waiting for that Kickstarter campaign to kick off. In the meantime, I'll keep on working and refining things. Thanks for your guys' patience and support!

The Pale Deep - caseyfromspace

Hey guys! Update 1.2 is almost ready for the main branch, but just needs a little testing to make sure everything is all good! I am but a solo dev with a small group of friends to help me playtest, so it would really help me out if you're able to give the experimental branch of 1.2 a shot and let me know if you run into any issues, or if you don't run into any issues! (Both pieces of information are very helpful). I've pinned a thread in the game's steam discussion board, and you can also reach me on my Discord server!

If you're interested in helping test the update, you can opt into this version by right clicking on the game in your library > going to properties > betas > and then setting "beta participation" to "experimental". WARNING: This version has not yet been extensively tested and is almost certain to contain bugs. I cannot guarantee the safety of your save file if you choose to opt into this version.

Anyway, with this post I have released a new version of 1.2 to the experimental branch with some minor fixes, so hopefully everything is perfect now! (But you never know with game dev...)

Version 1.01i includes a small but important update to the **Quarterback Targeting** system introduced in 1.01h.

Previously, the system wasn't fully re-randomizing QB selections as intended—getting stuck in fixed rounds instead of generating fresh targets. With this fix, you can expect **more dynamic and varied QB Soft Targets** across your drafts.

Hey Ballardo players! We've rolled out a small but impactful update to keep things rolling smoother than ever. Here's what's new:

🛠️ VSync has been added to the settings – enjoy a smoother visual experience.
🎯 Aiming has been slightly improved (still a work in progress, but definitely better now).
📉 Higher League base values have been slightly reduced for a more balanced progression.
🎲 Sticker & Relic adjustments – some values and shop prices have been tweaked for better balance.

Some small changes to the way that markets are stored when you leave the town to ensure that they accurately reflect whatever you left behind when you return (markets will automatically refresh after 6 months).
Also a quick fix to stop an exploit that allowed you to power level the player character beyond 5.
