Chambers & Crops - HCFerrochrome

Hello everyone!

This update brings some quality of life improvements, dungeon/farming adjustments, and bug fixes. Inventory management is now smoother and easier, dungeon rewards have been adjusted, and farming interactions feel more polished. Here’s what’s new:

Quality of Life
  • Added an option to quickly move items via double click. Double clicking now transfers items as the follow:

    • Main Inventory -> Chest

    • Main Inventory -> Shop Sell

    • Main Inventory -> Hot Bar

    • Hot Bar -> Chest

    • Hot Bar -> Shop

    • Hot Bar -> Main Inventory

    • Hot Bar -> Repair

    • Chest-> Hot Bar (if Hot Bar is full, then the item will be moved to Main Inventory)

    • Shop -> Hot Bar (if Hot Bar is full, then the item will be moved to Main Inventory)

    • Repair Anvil -> Weapon Bar

    • Repair Anvil -> Hot Bar (if Hot Bar is full, then the item will be moved to Main Inventory)

    • Weapon Bar -> Repair Anvil

    • Weapon Bar -> Hot Bar (if Hot Bar is full, then the item will be moved to Main Inventory)

  • Items can now be stacked and swapped between Shop and the inventory

Dungeon
  • Added a reroll option when selecting buffs

  • Added Elite Rooms mini map icons, which are now optional (up until Level 1-5). In other words, they don't have to be cleared in order to progress to the next stage

  • Added additional purchasables to Dungeon Shops

  • Updated dungeon chest rewards

    • Higher difficulty rooms now yield higher-tier chests

    • These chests contain increased Coin and Soul rewards

  • Adjusted layouts and balancing in some combat rooms

Farming
  • Added new visual effects when interacting with Crops and Farm Lands, especially when working with multiple tiles

  • Water Cans can now be refilled at water sources around the enviroment instead of only at the Water Hut

Controller
  • Adjusted aim assist on some weapons/projectiles

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where Shop sell prices did not update correctly when stacking, splitting, or dropping items

  • Fixed a visual issue where Tool and Weapon durability bars reset to full length when closing the inventory

    • Durability bars now display correctly whenever the Main Inventory is opened

  • Fixed a stacking audio issue when using high-tier Water Cans or Hoes on Crops and Farm Lands

  • Fixed an issue where weapon damage values displayed extra decimal points in the description panel

  • Fixed an issue where certain weapon idle animations stopped when durability reached 0

  • Fixed an issue where the Weapon Research Menu could remain active and not close after crafting

  • Fixed an issue where the Next Level teleporter could be interacted with when no subsequent level existed

  • Fixed an issue where weapons appeared upside down when the player faced left while using a controller

  • Fixed an issue that could cause the player to become stuck in an open menu

Mostroscopy - Strider Spinel

Medea, The Kitten of Tindalos arrives at Mostroscopy!

Medea is a kitten who turned into stone after the death of her human, a witch named Alejandra... now she's smelled something beyond time and space, and has awakened to go find it!

Medea is a very agile kitten with very varied skills, a Rushdown type fighter that can transform during some of her attacks.

And is just Like Dollores one of the smallest fighters in the roster

She's based on the short story The Hounds of Tindalos by Frank Belknap Long and the Mexican film Blacker than Night by Carlos Enrique Taboada, a national horror classic!

Wow! It's been a lot of work getting here, but we already have four of the six fighters that make up the Mostroscopy Year 2 Season Pass.

We're just working on the last two fighters.

The console port team is working to bring the DLC characters to consoles. Just bear with us, we're a little slow.

And stay tuned! The season of the supernatural and mystery is almost here... and next Halloween, Mostroscopy will be celebrating its 2nd anniversary!

New version drop. We're moving focus to building out the metaprogression now, so we've got a bunch of new missions. These are in a very rough state, and should be greatly improved over the next few weeks. Nevertheless we welcome your feedback!

We have also addressed a few outstanding issues reported by our Discord community, thank you! ❤️

Highlights

🦋 Progression
  • Added a new starting sphere with reduced difficulty and simplified mechanics.
  • Added 20 new missions for unlocking specific existing weapons and gear from most biomes.
  • Added new missions for unlocking/tutorialising many core game mechanics and more difficult biomes.

🏓 Gameplay
  • Tweaks to exit ambush events.
  • Pilebunker can no longer recieve several inappopriate mods.
  • Fixed a bug which caused Saucy Mule to sometimes fire infinite bullets. (Reported by @MegaQuack)
  • Hot shot now applies deterministically, and only to weapon projectiles. (Reported by @FlamingKetchup)
  • Enfilade now triggers correctly on quickdraw.
  • Player missiles no longer explode instantly when fired in the same turn as player bullet cutting projectiles.
  • Fixed an issue causing your teammates to occasionally attack you. They've learnt their lessons now. (Reported by @gudic, @ilovelizards)

🖼️ Art
  • Added weapon model for disintegrator.

✅ UI
  • Cooked up some goop for equipment chests. ??
  • Correct ammo icons for new weapons.

🤖 Tech
  • Improved camera smoothing. This should be most noticeable when sprinting.

🔊 Audio
  • Do not play equip audio for weapons already in inventory when entering a new floor. (Reported by @rymarq)
