By now Factory location done for 40% we may even be a little ahead of schedule but time will show. For exemple here is a screen of secret level. Work in progress.

As you can see no noticeable graphic improvements here.

Levels

Overall it's noticible harder to deliver original ideas but we still do! You will notice this right on first level of new location. I can't say that we matching a Desert by the size but we took best from them and made it better. I think we came to solid level structure overall like 1 Unique mechanic 1 Not-cooperative parkour 1 Strongly co-op 1 Puzzle, Boss fight and Silly secret level.

Death screen

Now there will be a proper death screen(picture below) that will be different if cause of game over is your friend! See for yourself.

While working with this I found a bug! Looks like there where a problem and in reality players shared their health. So it's now should be better.

Free game

Some time ago we made a pretty solid and complete game for a 3-day game jam. You can play it for free on Itch.io https://stanlatt.itch.io/clone-out please enjoy. It was fun and we learned a few new tricks but not sure about repeating it :) Some kind of type 2 fun.

PLANS
Localization

In upcoming update we are planning to add a poorly localized support for German, French, Spanish and Portuguese(Brazil). I promise if we will have additional resourses to hire someone with actual knowledge of this beutiful languages it will be done.

BOSS FIGHT

Main amount of work we putting to combine experience gained from previous fights and deliver something even more smooth and dynamic, like a well prepared dance. Maybe game would be better if we made only boss fights... Let's just say this time it will be something what you can see above while in factory.

2. Fixed an issue where the game would automatically skip the storyline when restarting from the same save after death.
3. Added a 1-second internal cooldown for passive ability triggers.
4. Fixed a bug where bosses would still attack after death.
5. Added a numerical display for health recovery.
6. Fixed the issue where attack speed would persist after death.
7. Enhanced controller support for some UI elements.
8. Improved the visual effects for certain UI transitions.

AI Update: Reduced Repetition

The model’s penalty has been adjusted to prevent it from saying the same thing over and over again.
A clear example of the old behavior:

  • Your name? → Eric
  • Your age? → My name is Eric and I am 32 years old
  • Your address? → My name is Eric, I am 32 years old and I’m from Obliska

Now the model is penalized for repeating itself. It may take a little longer to respond, but it is forced to vary its answers.
Example with the new behavior:

  • Your name? → Eric
  • Your age? → I’m 32 years old, why do you want to know that?
  • Your address? → Do I really need to tell you my address?
...
