And it only took 9 days! 🤯 Ahhhh!

I always set my expectations low, so this was such an amazing surprise!

The whole team is so blown away with how many people our goofy game about a mouse making food has resonated with! 🥰

Behind the Scenes

Let's dive into some behind-the-scenes stuff!

Recently, I was sharing how I plan game-making with some other cozy game devs & they thought my process was really clean & cool, so I thought I might as well share some sneak peaks in case it's useful or interesting to anyone here! ✨

Planning set design, branching recipes & minigames

I've used sites like Miro in the past, but I eventually discovered that Canva fits my workflow best for quickly making gameplay mock-ups & sharing my vision with the team. The best part is it's also presentable and editable, so it's easy for us to collaborate further 🧩

Claymation

In Pawsta, all of the claymation is actually.. simulated! Instead of painstakingly moulding things by hand, we use a plug-in for Blender to create our assets & then flick through models & renders in Unity to simulate a stop-motion effect 🪄

We also use a shader so that 2D elements like menu icons get a wibbly-wobbly feeling too! 🪼

Also, the weird blue-boxed image in the top-left shows off the stupid-simple 3D magic behind our environments. Though we're gradually incorporating more hands-on 3D models in the game, sometimes we've been layering 2D renders and setting up hitboxes manually in the scene. It's quite fiddly though, so we might eventually drift away from this..🤔

Saviour of the Wasteland - PTGames

Just a minor update to let you know that Saviour of the Wasteland now supports French, Simplified Chinese, Russian and Portuguese in its subtitles!

Unfortunately, these are only machine translations, so I cannot guarantee how good they will be and they only apply to the subtitles. Many of the menu items and interface items will still be in English due to the way Ren'py works, but it should make playing much easier for those who speak those languages!

Conqueror's Blade - Max_CM1

To summon returning Warlords back to the battlefield and help new Warlords quickly get started, Conqueror's Blade launches the "Gather to Beacon" event for returning and newcoming Warlords. Both new and returning Warlords who answer the call can enjoy additional limited-time free Doctrines, special returning bonuses, Unit Mastery resources, and more rewards. Recruiters can also receive generous rewards once their recruits successfully complete quests!

Event Rules
  1. Event Period (UTC+8): After maintenance on June 19, 2025 – 00:00, September 1, 2025.

  2. During the event, players can recruit others via the event page. When the respondent completes the corresponding in-game Challenge Quests, the recruiter will earn "Beacon Points". Stage rewards include:

  1. When recruiters reach the stage reward requirements for "Beacon Points", rewards will be sent to the in-game character mailbox. Mails are valid for 30 days from the date received, so please check promptly. After 00:00, September 1, 2025 (UTC+8), all rewards on this event page cannot get item.

  2. After the event starts, successfully recruited players will receive 1 "Beacon Decree" (delivered to the character bound to the event via in-game mailbox). Upon opening the "Beacon Decree", players will receive different quests based on their account status.

  3. Recruit Requirements

    1. Returning Players

      1. After the event starts on June 19, 2025, Account that has not logged into the game for at least 30 days at the time of logging into the event site are considered Returning Player.

      2. If the last login to the game was at least 30 days ago as of June 19, 2025, and the account logs into the event site before 00:00,September 1, 2025 (UTC+8), it will also be considered a Returning Player.

      3. Returning Players who open the "Beacon Decree" will trigger the "Recalling of Beacon" quest series.

    2. New Players

      1. Accounts created after 00:00, May 30, 2025 (UTC+8), are considered New Players. Even if they have logged in before being recruited, they can still be successfully recruited.

      2. Accounts created before 00:00, May 30, 2025 (UTC+8), but currently with 0 character, are also considered New Players.

      3. New Players who open the "Beacon Decree" will trigger the "Greeting of Beacon" quest series.

    3. Active Players

      1. Players that are not Returning Players or New Players are considered Active Players

      2. The Active Players can't be recruited.

  4. Each Account may recruit up to 10 players in total, including both Returning Players and New Players.

  5. During the event, by completing "Greeting of Beacon" or "Recalling of Beacon" related quests, you can earn rewards such as Unit Medal, Uncommon Scroll of Mastery, and Limited-time Doctrine Selection Box. Related quests include:

    1. Returning Players

    1. New Players

  6. After the event ends, the "Beacon Decree" will no longer trigger activity tasks. All unfinished activity tasks will be removed.

  7. Only one character per account may participate in this event, and event rewards are limited to that character. Each account may claim event rewards only once.

Three Kingdoms Mushouden - 腿腿不要再买谷啦
Hello everyone!

We’ve just released a new installation package. This update mainly addresses several issues that may affect your gameplay experience.

New toggle options for general death animations, horror effects, and ultimate skill cut-ins have been added to the settings menu. You can now freely turn them on or off as needed.

Current version: ver_1.2.5

【Fixes】
  • Fixed hitbox-related bugs for the ultimate skills of Wen Pin, Yue Jin, Jiang Qin, and Gao Lan.
【Optimizations】
  • Added a toggle for death animations. You can enable/disable it in the settings menu.
  • Added a toggle for horror effects. When turned off, no horror visuals will appear during tomb exploration.
  • Added a toggle for ultimate skill cut-in animations. This can also be changed in the settings menu.


  • Added talent and ability locks for Yuan Gang.
  • Adjusted the difficulty curve of the main story campaign.
  • Lowered the cost of general-related rumors in cities.
Additionally, for the previously reported issue where the download gets stuck at 73%, we’ve compiled some effective solutions based on player feedback.

If you encounter this issue, please try the following methods first:

1. Delete steam.cfg
Go to your Steam directory and delete the file named steam.cfg, then restart Steam.
To manually check for client updates:
Open Steam → Click [Steam] in the top-left corner → [Check for Steam Client Updates]

2. Change Download Region
Open Steam → Settings → Downloads → Download Region → Switch to a less crowded region (e.g. “East Africa”)
Then restart Steam and try downloading again.
You can change it back to your original region after the download completes.

3. Steam Support Suggestion: Restart Steam Client
Manually close and restart the Steam client to check whether it updates to the latest version.
※Note: For users running Windows 7, these methods might not resolve the issue. We recommend upgrading your operating system.

Since this is an issue related to the Steam client itself, if the above methods do not help, we strongly recommend contacting Steam Support directly.
Having support staff review your case often leads to a quicker resolution.

Known Issues:

-Rake can act a bit quirky sometimes

-Sometimes, when messing with the effects setting too much the world can go black (temporary fix while I work on it is when this happens setting overall settings to low, medium, high, then epic will reset it back to normal)
